I started this challenge wanting 30 minutes of cardio 6 days a week, and 3 days of strength training a week. this adds up to 1080 in fitness minutes for the month........

Goal 1080

I am just getting back to this and really want to have a good month. I am going to hit 900 fitness minutes for February. I just finished a big move, and am going to get back to bike commuting every day. That will be 9 miles most days, with Mondays and Fridays at being just a one way ride. That means walking on the weekend and a longer ride too.

well my goal in 2011 is to aim for 1200 fitness minutes per month. i have been ill off and on since october 2010 so the movie title "how stella got her groove back" has taken on a special meaning of sorts.

either way, i feel like some of my mojo is finally beginning to return and it feels great. so while i am off to a slow start in february, i'm okay with that cuz once i gain momentum, alls i can say is "get outta way"!

Hi everyone, since I dont do much in the way of fitness, I'm going to take it slow. My fitness pledge for february is to walk buffy 3x's a day for atleast 15 minutes or more. Plus add in some aroebics with richard simmons, which is another 45 minutes. which comes out to 1800 minutes for the month.

OK, so I have done really well sticking to my initial goal of spinning 3 times a week. Love it!! Each leader does something different. It's a lot of fun and I burn lots of calories!! I need to focus more on my weight training. My husband got me a gift certificate for 8 1 hour sessions with my son's trainer. Had my first session last week - it was hard, but I loved it!! So, my step up goal is to do more weight training and keep up with the spin 3 times a week. My initial goal was to lose 30 pounds by April 1st because we are going to Florida. So far, I've lost 13!!! I need to step it up to keep on track, but I can do it!

I am working on 30 cardio 6 days a week, and strength 3-5 times a week. not sure how many minutes it will turn out to be, but I am off to a decent start.
first week: I have 346 minutes... not bad
