I'm on glass 6 but I'd rather have some green tea now - it's cold and rainy here. Does green tea count as water?

I always get my 5 glasses of water in, mostly at work. Fruits and vegetables are another story. But i did it! Thanks to the large salad that i had for lunch.

This is my first message board post on Spark! So, I'm just silently applauding that accomplishment here. But if I did it wrong--somebody please let me know!

Anyway--I'm following the Meal Plan today so I did not have any trouble getting the 5 vege/fruits in:
banana, edible peas in pod, cucumbers, romaine lettuce, strawberries

I also drank my waters today throughout the day--herbal tea at my desk mostly. Love my little electric hot pot!

I have a great idea from my trainer. I like veggies so she suggested to keep me from eathing bread and increase my veggie intake to try a piece of ham rolled over a piece of broccoli with a bit of cream cheese. I had four of them... I don't feel hungry yet... just thirsty.

Ok, I have drank all the water. I have 2 servings of veggies left. I will have a salad before dinner and a baked potato!! Woo hoo!! I have this challenge beat!!! Feeling pretty good right now.

An easy one for me today - the water is never the issue, it's usually the fruits & veggies but I've already done 4 so squeezing one more in shouldn't be too difficult. Good Luck! emoticon

That's pretty much a routine now - I almost don't have to check! Usually I get my 8 glasses of water at work (and had three since coming home). Today, I'm just eating fruit. But I will snack on carrots if I'm hungry later.

thanks for the reminder! I'm recovering from surgery and am taking it slow on getting my stamina and work outs going again. Im drinking my water and will make me a nice fruit salad for lunch... Just broke up 1/2 my garden plot its a nice 68 here in South Texas... but that was enough to get my heart up!

Time is the ONLY true commidity...
