i recently joined a sparkpeople challenge to lose 15lbs by xmas. additionally, i will be running in my first 5k on thanksgiving. its an annual tradition here in long beach, CA called the turkey trot. so my goal to prepare for that is to get in 3-5 miles (or 45-60 minutes of leslie sansone dvds) of walk/jogging per day so I can jog most of my 5K. i tend to rest on sundays or do stretching/yoga.

ok, did 41 minutes of tae bo today and 10 minutes of line dancing.51 total minutes on the first day of the month.(line dancing was fun and made me sweat immediately) My goal is 900 this month so that leaves me with 849 more minutes to go. emoticon

I will join too. My goal is 1200 minutes. Now, I usually do 40 minutes 4 or 5 days per week, and 30 the rest. But I will try for 40 every day.

OK, I'm new at the SparkPeople and haven't posted before on the boards, so hope I'm doing this right:)

My goal is 600 minutes in November. I think setting a goal will be helpful toward getting me back into regular cardio. I'm sure I can at least walk 30 minutes if all else fails!

My goal last month was 900, and I surpassed it by a little, so for November I will set the goal of 1000. It will be a challenge with the holidays approaching and the weather getting worse. Good luck everyone!

I would love to break the 600 mark so that is my goal. This time I am going to track daily so I can track every little minute of moving. Also with this goal I am trying to walk 10,000 steps each day. once way or another I will be burning calories emoticon

Okay. I figured it out - I did 1578 minutes total in October, so I'm going to stick my neck out and say I can do it again! LOL! I'll aim for 1500 for November (after all, there's one less day to begin with!)

I'm in for the challenge. Last month I pledge 1200 & made it past, so I will pledge 1900-not knowing what to expect. I am a candy maker & the upcoming holidays are my busy season. So, I will greatly pass this goal or have no time for it at all, lol!

I'm sticking with 1,800 minute. While I went past it in October, that last week I had to make an extra effort to meet my weekly goal.

I will try to add core strength exercise back into my days this month. I'll leave cardio where it is.

My math is terrible so I had to map this out on a calendar and add it up that way.

I run three times and swim once a week so it looks likes 615 minutes is my goal. The days of inclement weather will be challenging at the elliptical is not as inviting!

I've been aiming for 1500 minutes the last 3 months and haven't quite made it. Something always throwing me off. Football season is almost over for my boys so should free up a little time until wrestling season starts in December. All day Saturday tourneys in December, January, and February may make it difficult to reach goals in those winter months so am committing myself to achieving my cardio goal of 1500 minutes this month..
