We will see if I can even make it that far. Need to finish re-reading book 3 still.

My gf sends me books and she will write in the inside, good or excellent, and when I read them sometimes I agreed and other times not. I guess sometimes our taste in a book might be the same as someone else and other times not.

I need to get back to reading WoT. First time around I only made it to book 4 I think and now I'm on book 3 but haven't gotten around to reading it again. My friend said around book 8 or so it got a little slow and that it picks up later in the series more but with those books what some people like, others really don't like.

No, my gf sends me books and I try to buy some. This is the first one of hers I have but have not read it yet. I have read a lot of series with authors. Ceder Clove I think is one with Debbie MacComber. Diane Palmer had one I read and Jodi Thomas but I read so many books I can not remember them all.

I hate when the publisher puts out a book and it has a story you read before in it, but the cover has a different name so you do not remember when you buy it.

Elf, I love Robert Jordan! My son is on book 9 of WoT.

Manie, Julia Quinn rocks! An Offer From a Gentleman is the third in a series (The Bridgertons). Have you read the first two? My favorites are the last two. I think there are seven or eight books. It's a large family. :)

I saw the story and couldn't follow it, wasn't my cup of tea. My gd read the book and said it was better.

I have in my library, Julia Quinn, An Offer from a Gentleman.
Robin Kaye Home to you
Fern Michaels Kiss and Tell
Debbie MacComber Last one home
Shelia Roberts Sweet Dreams on Central Street
Barbara Delinsky Sweet Salt Air
I also like Jodi Thomas, Diane Palmer, Catherine Anderson.

I have read some books that were mysteries. I think Koontz.
I remember reading about a man who took his son and used him for an experiment. When his mother went in his room, missing him, the computer came on and said, "Help Me." It was a good story. Another was about a little girl taken from her back yard. Then another where she married someone from another country and when he got his wife back there he would not let her go back to America, but she managed to get herself and child back.

Far too many to list but I can post a few. I love mostly fantasy and young adult books. Even though I write some romance, I don't really read any, but I might try a few more regency as research for my Boys Read Romance book.

Some authors I enjoy are:
Tamora Pierce (loved her books when I was a teen)
Robert Jordan
Neil Gaiman
Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman
Brandon Mull
and so many others

However, I will admit that I couldn't get into Meyer's book, Twilight. I tried but couldn't get past the first couple of pages. I also got bored when watching the movie. But I have a very low tolerance for anything vampire. I don't know what it is about them, just are not interesting to me.

Meyer writes paranormal. Vampires, yo!
...though I don't know about her new stuff.

I have to be in the right mood to read Nicholas Sparks. I like my happy endings!

Sounds like she writes mystery. I am into romance books because I write romance novels.
Do you do any writing at all?

Stephanie Meyer is famous for the Twilight Saga books but I think she has a new book out either called The Scientist or the Chemist...I haven't read it yet nor know what it's about i just know I was glancing through something and her having a new book is what peaked my interest.

I find that the authors I like to read seem to put out books with stories in them that I have read before. If you notice, sometimes you will see the cover say something you have never seen before, then you read the book and you remember one of the two stories that is in the book.

i like Susan Wiggs, Diane Palmer, Debbie MacComber, to mention a few.
