I understand that. It has become a place to pop in once in a while except for a few who come on regularly.

Today I went to the skin doc for phy and got a clean bill of health, so that made me happy.
As for losing, when I am stressed I eat but don't put on much weight, maybe .4 or .8 but then I take it off.

I have changed through the years. I was once a size 8, but will never get back there again.

I'm not quite the kid I was, but since I'm turning 30, I still am at a bit of a stage where not that much about me has changed in my appearance.

Online in general is difficult to keep groups and forums active. I have a group on a writing site and it's only me and a couple others who post maybe a few times a month in the group. When the group is new, then people post more and go online to see what is going on. After a while, that wears off, people get busy, life issues come up. So much can change and then the forums are left because while they are nice, it's not always someone's top priority with all that is out there online and all that people need to do on any given day.

Being a leader I am on the leader site too and they seem to be having problems with their sites, always asking how they can get members to post. I have run out of ideas and when posting a new subject it goes for a little while and then it dies. I am on the German Shepherd site and that has died too. Now with kids going back to school, and parents working and college students going back, a lot are busy and don;t have time to come on anymore. I know my granddaughter is taking college courses in her freshman year and she is blogged down with work, so imagine any college students on here are too. Still it is nice to hear from them once in a while, if they can.

Funny when you look in the mirror and you notice changes, not only in weight, but also in your face. The woman you once knew is starting to age, and you wonder where that young woman has gone. LOL

It is definitely a life long challenge.

Some may no longer be active on the site. There are so many different possibilities that it's hard to tell why people aren't posting. May give up, may be doing so well they just don't spend time online anymore. Never know.

Losing is not an easy task. That is why so many are not doing it and coming on to record their weight. I lost l.4 this week and tosay another .2, but I do fall back and snack on stuff I know I shouldn't. I do not manage to gain a lot but still I should be going down instead of up, even if it is a little. They say it is hard to lose in the winter because you are mostly stuck in the house and get bored, but one year I went through all the holidays and lost so much I went to a size l0. I am a size l2 in some clothes and a size 14 in others, depending on style. My weight is in the stomach, around the middle, the hardest to lose.

Well, for me... she never existed. Granted I wasn't a fat toddler or anything but growing up I've pretty much always been sort of round.

I had a customer mention how old her dress was that I complimented, so I shrugged and mentioned how I still wore gym shorts from jr high, meaning nothing wrong with an old bit of clothing. She said I was lucky as in cause I still fit in them. But umm, it's not like they are skinny jeans. They are boy basketball shorts and it just means I was just as round back then as I am now. I know she meant well but was a bit awkward.

I know a minor difficulty for me is visualizing at a healthy weight cause I have no point of reference. I've never been a size 8 or less. Was only a size 12 when that was big for my age range. I struggled picking a final weight when I did weight watchers because it's hard to imagine what any of what they recommended would look like. So, I prefer baby stepping it. I know 190's, so let me reach there first and then I'll search out the next step.

Remember way back when you were a size 2,6, 8, l0,12? What happened to that woman? Where did she go? Why did she leave yu? Was she angry because you started to gain weight. Was she trying to tell you not to? Didn't you listen to her? Is that why she left?
Don't you think it is about time you made friends with her again? Seek her out and become the woman you used to be. Do you know where that woman is gone?
