Had morning shift at work, then commute through traffic to get to gym. Took almost 50 minutes due to how slow it was on the 101. Did upper body lifting and at least that went well.

Lifted yesterday. Started program called Wendler's 5/3/1. Yesterday was squat focused though did sumo deadlifts too. Going to combine deadlift and bench press day tomorrow. Hopefully on regular schedule this next week so i can figure out my lifting days.

On Thursday I did some cardio on the elliptical and a couple random sessions at the gym with upper body weight lifting. Last night, after going out for pizza with coworkers, I did more of a lower body focus with squats and deadlifts (well lower body and back work), also practiced elements of the power clean.

Today, just a walk and work. Packing some but it's hard to organize it all between what stays and what goes. Can't put stuff in car really until Wednesday night, but that will be here very soon.

Didn't sleep. Went to the gym to lift weights, some cardio on the elliptical for 30 minutes then went to the park for a long walk. Took a nap and now have to get ready for work. Have an 8 hour shift tonight then work morning tomorrow.

Took part in an obstacle course run. 10k, which was basically the 5k course done twice. Very cold, muddy, wet and lots of obstacles to get through before reaching the end.

Today was just a short run, about 3 miles. While Saturday is going to be 6 miles, it's not a steady run since there will be obstacles to make it through. Will be very different so I just prepped today by running around the same time to see how it was weather wise. Hopefully it's cloudy this weekend cause the heat and humidity is a little blah at 11 am.

Have been doing more cardio lately, more walking than anything else. Getting so nice out that I just feel like walking places. I walked to Goodwill yesterday, which isn't as far as the grocery store. Then I did elliptical after work. Today I will lift weights after a short cashier shift with a focus on deadlifts. Tomorrow I leave for LA to see my sister.

Went to the gym after work to lift weights and a little cardio. Then went home and tried the maple bacon poptarts. Pretty good actually. Maple with a hint of bacon smell/flavor. Liked it both cold and toasted. Won't have it again cause I rarely eat poptarts but it was fun to try.

Cardio day. Ran for around 20 minutes but not at one time as I had to walk back to my car to drop off the water bottle because the fanny pack belt thing wouldn't stay tight when running. But got a good run and walk in before getting foods at Whole Foods grocery store.

Well I'm really pushing myself after a 10 hour work day to go walking for almost 2 hrs out to the rodeo grounds, walk twice around the race track and up the steep bleacher hill and back home. I'm getting in over my 10,000 steps every day.
Today I really pushed myself to do it because my back was in real pain even with my support vest. But I did it.

TODAY Is MY tomorrow. It's up to ME to shape it, To TAKE CONTROL and seize EVERY opportunity. The POWER is in the choices I make EVERY day. I eat well, I live well I SHAPE ME!

Some for the reason I've been "invisible" is because after working anywhere from 8-10 hours a day I'm out at the rodeo grounds walking the race track and bleachers for 2 hours!
These are the kind of results I've been having.

Steps 10,400
Miles walked 3-5 miles
Calories burned 2007 active cals 649 resting cals 1358 and that was just today! All in an 1hr and 45 minutes

Went to the gym after work. Did all of the three lifts that I'll have to do at the meet, but just the first weight I plan to do. Each lift you get 3 attempts, so the first one is supposed to be something you know you can do in almost any circumstance. Practiced that tonight in singlet outfit.

Did some computer work yesterday, then lifted weights. Went pretty well even though it was 200 lbs for the squats and that was my previous 1 rep max. Just had to do one rep at a time but over 3 sets. So do one, put it up on cage, rest for a bit then do another. I didn't do much today as I didn't get more than an hour of sleep last night. Went to Starbucks but didn't get as much done online cause headache and tired. Hoping to get some decent sleep tonight.

Happy Easter to you too.

Took eggplant out of freezer and tomorrow will bake it. I fry it first and then freeze for when I want it. Also got the wine, books for my dil's friend's mother and cards with money for the kids, my dil's friend has, as we are going over her house to eat. They always have a long day. We have a table with stuff to much on first, then an hour or two later the meal, then coloring eggs and Easter hunt and pictures. Sometimes, I get tired being there so long.

Happy Easter.

I worked 9 hours today instead of 8 then did 30 minutes on elliptical. Short shift tomorrow unless get called in then Sunday will work 9 hours as well.

Washing Hailey's other comforter, as she lays on both sofas. She goes from one to the other, for comfort. LOL, so I make sure there is a comforter on both. Worked on my story yesterday. I was going full speed when I knew I had to stop and start lunch for dh and Hailey.
Hard when your muse is talking and you have to stop. I never went back. Hoping today I might get a chance. It is raining so staying put. Still have second half of day for the rest of the bike. Right now, time goes so fast, it is l0:46 and soon have to start the salmon for lunch.

Finished my bike and have the dog's comforter in washer and towels in dryer and have to start soup in half hour, then play to finish rest of bike and work on my other story today.
