I keep editing my original post for Week 2 goals. Is that correct, or should I be creating a new post?

Also, I had 10 Live It points from last week. Do I add this week's points to those 10, or do I just keep a running tab of each week's points earned and then add them up at the end of the month?

I'm not sure if this is the correct topic to post this under but I just wanted to share something on the water. Today, (finally) exercised--it so helps w/my water intake. I was a sweaty mess afterward and I guzzled my big water bottle down. So I may actually have a decent number for today's water intake. :)

Hey fellow Sparkies,

If water is hard to get down, think about flavoring it with Lipton To Go tea packets. Also available by Crystal Light & generic store brands too. You just add a packet to water, shake & go. I use my own water bottles because:

A. It's cheaper
B. I have a water dispenser in my fridge
C. I use a whole packet in 32oz of water.
D. Makes it easy to guzzle with/without a meal.

Hope this helps everyone meet the water goal!

I'm in. I have a very hard time dring 8 glasses of water a day ....but I CAN DO IT!

Quick question about the "bottoms up" mission: We do 2 sets of 12-15 repeats - right? It's not like we do 12-15 of the exercises? And do we do this every day of the week, cause I must be misunderstanding that bit?

This week’s mission is a two part challenge.“Bottoms Up” may have clued you in that part one of this is a water challenge. It’s true that most people don’t drink enough water, so you are not alone if you struggle with this. However, if your weight loss seems to be stalled out, try drowning your sorrows in nature’s magical weight-loss mineral-WATER. It really works and here is why:

There are many forms of metabolism going on in your body right now, but the one everyone is talking about is the metabolism of fat. This is actually something that the liver does when it converts stored fat to energy. One of the other jobs of the liver is to pick up slack for the kidneys, which need plenty of water to work properly. If the kidneys are water deprived, the liver has to do their work along with its own, lowering its total productivity. It then can’t metabolize fat quickly. If you do not drink enough water and allow this to happen, you’re setting yourself up to store fat.

During the first few days of drinking more water, you’re running to the bathroom constantly. This can be very discouraging, but what you should know is that your body is simply flushing all of the water it has been storing in “survival mode”. As you continue to give your body all the water it has been asking for, it gets rid of what it doesn’t need-what it has been holding around your ankles, hips, thighs and even your tummy. Once your body starts to trust that you will continue to give it water, it gets rid of these stores and eventually the flushing (of both the body and the potty) will cease.

The recommended daily intake is 64 ounces, or eight, eight ounce glasses. That’s not too much to ask for your good health is it? In this spirit, let’s all push to get in at least 8 glasses every day.

To earn your Live-It points all you have to do is drink up! Give yourself 1 point for each 8 ounce glass of water you consume up to 16 glasses.
