Yes, hemp is awesome. I saw it at the store and only bought it because I remember a vagan relative telling me how awesome hemp is. I had to look up what to do with it. When I looked it up I was thrilled with how nutritious it is and how easy it is to use (just sprinkle it on!). Since it came in a rather large bag I've been adding a tablespoon to a meal every day in order to use it up. I feel so virtuous. It went on my pasta (100% whole grain with steamed cauliflower, yellow squash, and tomato sauce), salads, steamed broccoli. I even tried it sprinkled on a banana. :)

i like hemp too...also flax, chia, sunflower, pumpkin...I haven't tried sesame seeds

if I remember hemp seeds have good amount of protein along with other good stuff (hey I need to look that up)

This probably isn't news to some (most?) of you, but I just discovered a wonderfully nutritious seed. I was looking for pine nuts, which I haven't been able to find in quite some time at my local markets. I saw hulled hemp seeds at the local Safeway. I figured if I didn't like them I could give them to a vegan family member.

These things are awesome! Very mild flavor, and since they're so small you can put them on a salad or in a dish and not even notice them. I just finished my daily salad with hemp seeds and raw pumpkin seeds in it, and it was fabulous!
