I agree that a indoor pool would be ideal. Can you do some chair exercises when you have a flair up? There are some videos on Spark. Even if you did them without hand weights, maybe just the movement would help??

I am wishing for the pool, too. I am going to see if I might qualify for a scholarship at the local YMCA. If not, I might just do the once a week free class for those with health issues.

As the cold weather is moving in I have noticed more and more flair ups. I know I need to keep active even when I have flair ups but it is so hard. My regular routine is a mix of yoga, pilates, light free weights, low impact aerobics, and walking. However I am limited during my flair ups and sometimes have too much pain to do my normal routine. I wish I had access to a pool but can't afford the costs of gyms with them in my area. Any suggestions on types of exercise that works well with your Arthritis?
