7/28 Protein 88 - range 60-130
Adlins, check out my recipe for Tuna Soup. It was a spur of the moment thing that turned out great! I was so full after I finished it. It started with only tomatoes & 1 TBL dressing, added celery and decided to cook it. Checked my Nutrition Tracker and needed calories and protein and the rest is Tuna Soup. Mind you, I make my own broth and I used cooked beef bones from our own beef - cooked for hours with some vinegar to really get the nutrition from the bones. It just gives me one more thing to do with canned tuna. Have a sparking good day, Linda P.S. That's my Virtual Model at my current weight. Gosh but I wish my thighs looked half as good! But they are getting better with all this Sparkin' Exercisin'. P.P.S. I did a Spark Search and it seems Tuna Soup is not that unusual. Many varieties to be found online. Raylin - love the tuna seasoning ideas. I used Miracle Whip light (love the new wide mouth jar) but want to experiment. I sometimes don't add anything, though I will sometimes add pickle, onion, and a boiled egg.

83 - range 60-130 I never used powdered protein but I wonder what would be the purpose? Are you unable to eat natural proteins? Are you trying to max out your proteins without the calories? Just curious. I wish you the best luck with it. Central Time Zone

![]() my DH leaves the water too. I started doing that and it is good. He also likes to use just a little pickle juice for variety. yesterday I splurged at Sam's Club and bought fresh salmon! I tell you because the packaged salmon was $1 more per pound than the fresh sold on a cart on ice! needless to say I returned the pre-packaged and picked 2 filets from the cart to take home. these will be divided into portions, double bagged (ziplock sandwich) and frozen for future use. extra bagging = better freshness so make sure to put all the packages into a larger freezer bag! July 24: 100 and stayed in range
Adlins, I switched to Solid White Tuna and found Miracle Whip Light for 20 calories per Tbl. I also found Taco Bell Zesty Ranch Topper for 35 calories per Tbl and use one of each when I mix my tuna. I have it with tomatoes and either sliced cucumbers or pickles. Makes for a filling meal. **AARGH! Just saw the sodium on my Tuna Dinner! Ahhh... trying to find balance.

I haven't tried them yet, but I have some StarKist Tuna Filets (they better be good) that I'll do with a couple of sides. Protein for one serving is 33 grams. That should be very good for me.

Ack! I just looked at my ranges for the week. I've missed by 3 grams for 3 days. Guess I need to re-evaluate. I'd been doing really good.

I'm in! I just started drinking Special K Protein water. It's the packets you add to your water. I like the Ice Tea flavor, which I mix with 32 oz of water instead of the recommended 20, because I like to dilute it. It's 30 calories and 5 grams of protein.
Also, another good way to eat a lot of protein without a lot of calories is egg whites (16 cal, 3 gram protein). So let's do this! Dream Dress, here I come!

Based on a recent thread, the July Challenge is to eat within the recommended Protein Range from your SP Nutrition Tracker, at least four times per week. For example, my range is 60-127. I should eat at least 60 grams of protein per day, but not more than 127.
