STACIARN01 - You can use the snow shoveling as cardio if you want to. You do not have to do the videos every day in order to qualify. As long as you get 500 fitness minutes for the month you will be eligible for the prize.

DOONEY_GIRL - For purposes of fitness minutes, it would be best to log it as circuit training. If you were only interested in tracking the fact that you did the video, you could add it as a custom workout in the strength tracker, but the time probably wouldn't work out since you get 5 fitness minutes for each strength exercise.

Three days of the week, I use the DVD, The Firm Total Body Sculpting with Tracie Long. This is an intense 46-minute video using dumbbells and a step stool. If I track each exercise she's done separately (in the strength area - since it involves weightlifting), I'm logging in over 56 exercises. I've taken the time to break down the video on pad and paper to know this. But it's crazy to log each part of the video this way. Should I use "Circuit Training"? But then, I have nothing in the "Strength" section. Does this matter? I'm looking for suggestions on how to track this workout, please! Thank you!

People shouldn't worry too much about what they eat between Christmas & New Years, but instead focus on what they eat between New Years and Christmas!

How can I take advantage of today's workout without using the video? My computer is in a different room than my workout space and my computer is severely S.L.O.W. Today's workout also does not have printable instructions.

Do join! The rules say you need an exercise ball and dumbbells. Our coach posts the exercise video a day ahead so you can preview and get ready. Give it a go! The computer scares me more than the exercises.

Does SHoveling snow count as the activity for day 1? I worked a 12hr shift then shoveled after....for about 25minutes? Did you have to do the video to qualify??

I joined the teams quite a while ago and received a few messages from Coach Denise - I received the info about day 1, but that is it. I did not receive Days 2 & 3 w/links to the videos, I'm confused as to why that has happened.

I added a custom goal under the other goals section & Titled it "Complete Bonus Challenge: SparkPeople's Official Spark Your Body Bootcamp Team" and set it for 1x per day :) I figure it gives me more accountability for the day :)

VISUALLYRICS, You must log 500 fitness minutes to qualify for the grand prize. If you exercise the 30 minutes five days a week that you are asked to do for bootcamp you will exceed the 500 minutes.

Hi! I am so excited to join this team! I saw way down below that TCLADY will be doing her workouts at the gym and/or at home using her own videos....I would prefer to do this as well as I am unable to watch the online SP videos....as long as I track 500 fitness minutes/month then am I okay? ....how many minutes a day....I assume 7 days/week does that add up to? I've never used a stability ball before, but I did get one to use for this workout. It's a 65cm ball and the directions call for it to be inflated to 80" in circumference, which seems pretty... tight? to me. Are they usually really firm or do they have some give? Thanks.

JMorris, do you have RealPlayer? You need RealPlayer to download the videos. Even if your browser doesn't have the popup, you can enter the video URL in RP and then download the video.

PARKGIRL - You can turn off the new post notification by going to your Sparkteams and clicking on preferences. Uncheck the box for new topic notifications. You will still get the weekly update by Sparkmail, and you can check the boards daily for the new challenges and workout posts.

I did what the instructions said to download the video and it did noty work. There is no pop-up box and when I moved the cursor over the upper right corner of the screen nothing happened. I tried right-clicking in that area and downloading the video was not a choice.

I cannot access YouTube from work and my computer at home is a Pentium 166 with a dial-up connection. No way that I can watch the video online. I can only access the videos from a public site such as a library and I think they would frown on me doing workout there.

How do I download the video or are the instructions written somewhere?

TRIGFROST - Did you add the video to your cardio tracker? If you already did 120 minutes of exercise, that is the daily limit for earning points.

ASPENJULES - Your eligibility for prize drawings will not be effected if you choose not to do the Sunday workout. You just need to have logged at least 500 fitness minutes for the month, which you could probably do even if you skipped Sundays. Your other option is to add the Sunday video to a different day.

Ok, I realize that someone else may have asked this question, but I spent quite some time the other day reading through everything here and didn't see this particular one, and simply don't have the time to read through the rest of them now.

My question is this - I don't work out on Sundays for religious reasons, so does that mean I will always miss the same video each week? and how will that impact my participation in the drawings and things if I don't add this workout each Sunday? Thanks for your time in answering - I appreciate it!
