I am going for 60 min a day, be it stretching, cardio or strength training. Started out strong cleaning house to have everyone over for new Year's Day then had almost 2' of snow throughout the day on the 2nd and had to shovel out drive as our snow blower broke down.

I reached my 2000 minutes this month and I made my mileage goal on the elliptical this month: 40 miles. I wanted at least to get at least 31 miles.

So, the month is over. I did much better than I expected. I pledged to do 155 minutes. I know it wans't much but I was just restarting my exercise program. Today I finished the month over my goal. I got in 347 minutes of walking. Of course my Fitbit says I get much more than that but for this challenge I was only counting my actual dedicated fitness minutes.

I wear a Fitbit and it counts all the activity I have during the day. For this challenge I am only counting the actual planned exercise I do. Seeing as I ahve to work myself back up due to low endruance I am starting with a modest goal.

(changed my goal because I realised I was only thinking of one week rather than two!!)

January 20 - 10 minute SP jump start cardio workout video
January 21 - 75 minutes total = 30 minutes stationary bike at gym, 45 min exercise class
January 22 - 45 minutes at the gym, statinery bike, cross trainer, rowing machine and step machine
January 23 - 10 minute SP video - cardio kickboxing
January 24 - 28 minute SP video - 20 minute fat blaster (actually 28 mins!)
January 25 - 0
January 26 - 0
January 27 - 40 minute doing the school run, walking up and down hills and pushing a pushchair, 60 minutes in the toughest cardio class I have ever done!!! Total = 100 minutes

Hooray - although I finished off the month badly I met my monthly goal so I am pleased emoticon

I didn't make it last month. Basically because I didn't have time to log in my fitness towards the end.

I'm going to try it again. I'm going to do 1,100 minutes pledged, but I'm really trying for 1,500.

Hi all! I'm just starting back out so I'm going to stick with a goal that averages 25-30 min 5x per week. And I will only be counting actual treadmill/elliptical, etc time...
