READY TO START 2019?? New challenge: WHAT DO YOU HAVE TO LOOSE---2019

Once again, I did not meet my goal. BUT, I am not discouraged. I began these challenges four years ago and have had losses each year that have totaled to over 40 pounds! So, for me, it is slow and steady wins the race! For you, it can be whatever you choose!


Some of you have done very well; some, like me, have lost some weight; some, none at all or have even gained. It is a new year and each day is a new day to begin, start over or continue your path to better health!

30 - 226 (+1) Weight fluctuation is driving me nuts. Armour 120+15 mg upon waking. No swim on Monday due to bf's memorial service. Insomnia Sunday and Thursday caused weight gain. Slept 8 hours last night and weight down 2 lbs. Three meals. Two hours of water aerobics Friday. Multivitamin and D3/K2 with lunch. Magnesium after dinner.

07 - 223 (-3) Can't believe it. (Armour 120+15 mg upon waking. 1/4 tablet of Florinef after breakfast for two days so far. Three meals daily. Exercise. Leg/calf pain gone. More energy.)

14 - 226 (+3) Knew it was too good to be true. ( Armour 120+15 mg upon waking. 1/4 tablet Florenif after breakfast daily. NS and tired. Three Meals. Exercise. No leg pain, nasal congestion, leg pain.

Breakfast, dinner, yogurt snack before swimming and peanut butter or tuna crackers with grapes for lunch. Salad with chicken for work lunch. Stopped taking stool softener plus laxative and tummy better.

October

06 - 227 ( down 3 lbs since yesterday's doctor weight in). (120+30 mg of Armour upon waking. Swam and walked. 6000 steps. Three meals plus snack. 1/4 table Florinef.

13 - 228 (+1 and -2 lbs from taking 1/4 tablet of Florenif 2 days ago.) (120+15 mg Armour upon waking.) Three meals and swam yesterday. Sleeping of and on. Ate ice cream cake for lunch today. Going out to lunch with friends Sunday and work Wednesday.

20 - 228 (-2 lbs from this week) (120+15+15 mg Armour upon waking) 1/2 Florenif due to low bp, loss of vision yesterday. Three meals and lots of housework/steps. Didn't sleep well.

27 - 229 (+1)....(120+15 mg of Armour upon waking) 1/4 Florenif every day due to low bp and pulse. Three meals and water aerobics. Sweets before bed. Fall asleep at 1-1:30 am.

November

03 - 230 (+1) (120 + 15 mg of Armour upon waking.) No Florenif. Swollen ankles. Sleeping on and off. Three meals and water aerobic. Sweets before bed, and switched to eating fruit instead.

10 - 229 (-1) ( gained weight on 120+ 15 mg of Armour. Switched to 150 mg plus 1/4 tablet of Florenif.) Eating three meals. Snack for gym lunch. Dinner with fruit before 8 pm. Sleeping 5-6 hours nightly.

17 - 230 (+1) (Taking 120 + 15 mg Armour daily and no florinef.) been eating clean. Early dinner and no sweets. Swim 3xs a week. No weight lifting. Three bad gastro attacks since seeing gastro on Nov 2. Started taking 150 mg of Armour with a half tablet of Florenif today and less pain.

24- 229 (-1) (120 +15 mg Armour upon waking.) Swim 3-4 xs weekly. No weight lifting due to back and leg pain. Eating three meals on workdays and two meals with snack lunch on gym days. Dinner before 8 pm.

December

01 228 (-!) (120+15 mg Armour upon waking) No florinef. Swimming 3xs weekly. No weight lifting due to back/leg pain. Eating breakfast, snack lunch and dinner. Dinner before 8 pm. Gave up sweets. Not sure if giving up sweets or eating less is reason for loss. Thinking of taking 150 mg of Armour if I can get to bed and up early.

08 - 226 (-2) (150 mg Armour upon waking) Half Florenif tablet after breakfast every other day. I have been up and moving early in day. Pool 3x weekly. Vary between eating three meals and two meals and snack lunch.

15 - 226 (-0) Crazy week with medical tests, fasting and no meds, etc. (120 + 15 mg Armour or 120 + (2) 15 mg upon waking. Half Florenif tablet some days. Liquid diet as test prep on Sun and Thurs. I was 123 # on Monday and gained 3 lbs back when returned to eating solid food. Swim only 2 days due to med test.

22 - 228 (+2) I am sure it is water since ankles look like balloons. Crazy week with fasting tests and upper respiratory infection. (120+15 mg of Armour some days and 120+30 mg of Armour other days. Liquid diet twice for hospital tests. Medication for upper respiratory infection and 5 mg of hydro-cortisol too. Ate breakfast and mostly soup or hot tea/ sugar free hot cocoa. I had to edit this entry: I took 120+15 mg of Armour, Mucinex D and 5 mg of hydro cortisone yesterday and lost 3 lbs. Present weight is 225.

29 - 228 (-0) (120 + 15+15 mg Armour upon waking) Three meals. No junk food. Plenty of walking, chores, etc. No swimming due to gym closure. Disappointed that I am 3 pounds heavier then in January. Blood test and talk with doctor about meds this month. Maybe time to find new doctor.
