Our most updated intentions list (including Janis' intentions):

1. In Thanksgiving for our many blessings;

2. For the Pro-Life cause and the 40 Days for Life; for our leaders to realize the evil of abortion and euthanasia and make laws that protect the most vulnerable in our society, and for those who do not see the horrific sin of abortion, that their eyes will be opened, and they will develop a conscience regarding the sin; for those struggling with crisis pregnancies; for the souls of all babies who were killed or who died in-utero;

3. For all non-believers especially: Jason, Jennifer, Donny, Graham, Mathew, Erin; For all lukewarm souls that the Holy Spirit will light the fire of faith within them again, especially: Mike, Alexi; For all Catholics who have left the Church that the Holy Spirit will call them home again, including Danielle, Portia's sons;

4. For all Catholic Critters Team members, that God will strengthen our faith always;

5. For all SparkPeople members that God will guide us in our healthy journeys;

6. For those who are unemployed, under-employed, unsatisfied with their work, those without housing or healthcare, and those who suffer financially, that God will provide for all their needs, especially for Jim, Mike, and Sunny;

7. For all those who are ill, including those suffering from terminal illnesses, that God will grant them all health of mind, body, and spirit, especially Sunny, Lesley, Claudia, John, Denise, and Gilles;

8. For peace in our world, and for all those in the military, that God will keep them safe in His arms;

9. For all those who struggle with eating disorders, food addictions, alcoholism, or other addictions, both those who are in recovery and those who still suffer, including: Julie, CJ's OA friends and teammates;

10. For all those who are mentally ill, depressed, or otherwise emotionally troubled, that God will grant them all peace and harmony in recovery, and give them the courage and the strength to deal with those crosses: Mike, Alexi, Laurie, Eva, and Graham;

11. For all souls in purgatory, especially our family members, that God will have mercy on their souls and welcome them into His heavenly home, especially: Father Morand and Father Martin, Louise S. and for all those who mourn;

12. For our parents, especially Be and Graham, John and Denise;

13. For all children, including our grown children, and that all missing children be returned to their parents: Mike, Alexi, Alex, Cody, Tyler, Danielle, Edward, Suzette, CJ's godchildren;

14. For all students, especially: those at St. Maurice School; for all teachers including Tina, the teachers at St. Maurice School;

16. For all people affected by disasters: including the people of Fort McMurray, Alberta;

17. For all those who have no one to pray for or with them, and for the homeless, the abused, the lonely, the hurting, the elderly, those in nursing homes, and the poor;

18. For all couples, especially: Mike and Alexi (who are contemplating divorce), Cheryl and Bryan;

19. For all those Catholic Critters and our loved ones who will celebrate birthdays or anniversaries in March and April: Sunny, Jim, Sylvie, and Denise;

20. For all those married couples who are longing for a child, that God will grant them the blessing of new life;

21. For all pregnant women;

22. For the Church that she will grow and flourish throughout the world and be a refuge and font of grace for all and for the following parishes: Christ the King and St. Vital;

23. For all religious brothers and sisters including Sisters Anne, Laurette, the nun CJ met in Quebec, and for all Sisters Servants of Mary Immaculate; and for all those discerning a religious life including Michael, and Suzette;

24. For all priests, bishops, deacons, and seminarians including Father Schreck, Bishop Hartmayer, Fathers Kevin, Kelly, Barry, Renato, Vincent, Varghese, Peter; Archbishops Legatt and Gagnon;

25. For all other intentions, including: Lauralyn-Marie's personal matter of the heart; for the Conservative leadership race in Canada, that a faithful, pro-life candidate is chosen to lead the party; for those who use God's name and Jesus' name carelessly, and uttering them in vain, that they will come to realize how hurtful this is to God, and that the Holy Spirit will allow them to see how offended He is when someone profanes His Sacred Name, and that they will stop this offense; for those of us who lose our temper with our spouse or other loved ones, that God will help us to refrain from reacting to words and real or imagine provocation; for all missionaries, especially the National Evangelization Teams currently in Canada, that the Holy Spirit will guide them all;

Please note - I have added Donna, Lesley, and Lauralyn-Marie's intentions as well.

Here is the "skeleton" list for intentions that we sometimes use, and some Catholic Critters prefer.

You may:

(1) copy and paste the the most recent post of these intentions into a new post of yours and add in your intentions under the appropriate spot,

or ...

(2) simply don't worry about the skeleton list and just type your intentions into a new post, and someone else will add them to the master list later

It doesn't matter to me either way, please do what is most convenient to you.

However, I would ask that if you choose to use the copy and paste into a new post method, please ensure that you have the *newest* post of the skeleton list, so no one's intentions get lost in the thread.

Thank you!

I will be joining for this, but not starting until April 1st when I get back from vacation. Thanks for posting this, I was going to do it on my own anyway (first attempt) but this will help with accountability. Intention is for family members who have left the church.
