I am very happy that so many of you are joining us!

Are you all praying the mysteries for the set day? Is that easiest?

ie - Monday we do Joyful, Tuesday Sorrowful, etc.? Or do you want to do them like we do for the 54-Day novena?

LESLIEDUNN - thank you so much for letting us know about the app! I am smart-device illiterate, so I appreciate the help in that area!

I'll be joining in the novena! Our parish prints out a monthly calendar with our diocesan priests names on it so that we can pray for one of the priests each day. Pope Francis and our Bishop are on it too.

I was able to maintain my weight for several months, but now I have to get serious again as much of my hard work I let go of, putting my focus on another issue. I will keep on, until I get back to my goal.

There's an app for that!

The Mary app, from the Marians of the Immaculate Conception, is available from the App Store from iTunes. Check to see if Android has it, too, if you need that. It has all four mysteries and you can set it to automatically choose the correct one (beware praying after midnight because that's when it resets.) They also make one for Divine Mercy.

You can try copying and pasting my post into a word or other word processing document to print them out.

Alternately, you can search "rosary for priests" and hopefully you'll get this rosary in pdf form.

There is this one as well, although it is the same as the one I have posted, it does not have the luminous mysteries.

I hope that helps.

Hello again.

These are the prayers I will be using during the Rosary Novena for Priests. Feel free to use them as well, if you wish!

Rosary Intentions for Priests
JOYFUL MYSTERIES

The Annunciation

We pray for all priests who daily through the Consecration of the Mass, and through Holy Communion, bring us the Body and Blood of Christ.

We pray for all future priests now being formed in the wombs of their mothers, that they may be safe from physical and spiritual harm, and come to Ordination as God intends.

We pray for all future generations of priests and also that priests may treasure the gift of celibacy.

The Visitation

We pray especially for priests who bring Holy Communion to the sick, the shut-ins, and Viaticum to the dying.

We pray for all the priests who minister to the sick in other ways, counsel, comfort and console them.

The Nativity of Jesus

We pray that all seminarians grow in knowledge and love of God to become holy priests.

We pray especially for those who will be ordained soon, that they may remain faithful all their lives to the sublime privilege of being ďother ChristsĒ among us.

We pray that everyone will come to value the Eucharistic Feast and the Priesthood as among Godís greatest gifts to us.

We pray that every priest will consider himself a member of the Holy Family, a true son of Mary and Joseph, and a brother-priest of Jesus, the great High Priest.

The Presentation in the Temple

We thank God for all priests who like Simeon, have given us decades of faithful service. We pray that they may be rewarded for their generosity and self-sacrifice.

We pray also for all priests whose hearts are pierced by loneliness, depression and rejection.

Finding Jesus in the Temple

We pray that priests will always be found going about their Fatherís business, and will be obedient to the teaching Magisterium of the Church, our Holy Father and the bishops in communion with him.

We pray for all young priests that the love and dedication they experience in the first years of their priesthood may increase with time.

We pray for all priests who teach the Faith to children and adults.

LUMINOUS MYSTERIES

Baptism of the Lord

We pray for all priests that they be lifted up and strengthened by the Holy Spirit for their public ministry.

We pray that priests always are assured of Godís permanent relationship with His people and celebrate in gratitude for the gift of faith.

The Wedding at Cana

We pray that just as Mary was there at the beginning of her Sonís public ministry, that all priests are assured and hold in their hearts the fact that she remains for all time for all priests as their special intercessor and guide.

We pray that priests are always reminded and guided by the image of Maryís fidelity to her Son and Jesusí fidelity to her.

Proclamation of the Kingdom

We pray that all priests are blessed by this call to conversion and inspired by the graces they receive to live lives of holiness.

We pray that when priests feel helpless or in need that they are always reminded that Godís kingdom is at hand and reminded of Godís mercy and reconciliation.

Transfiguration

We pray that all priests be likewise transformed by the grace of the Holy Spirit and lifted up by the awesome presence of God in their lives.

We pray also that priests be always assured that His mercy endures forever.

We pray that priests be continually called and strengthened to live a life of conversion and spiritual courage as examples for us all.

The Institution of the Eucharist

We pray that the gift, graces, and joy of consecrating simple bread and wine into the Body and Blood of Christ be spiritual fuel to nurture and strengthen priestsí lives.

We pray that priests manifest their love of the Eucharistic Lord as they live their lives as ďpersona ChristiĒ for us.

SORROWFUL MYSTERIES

The Agony in the Garden

We pray that all priests who are suffering and on the way to Calvary may be comforted by Godís presence; those who have betrayed or denied the faith through weakness may repent and return to the warmth of Godís love.

We pray that all priests may live only to do our Fatherís will, Jesus always did.

Jesus Is Scourged

We pray for priests who are persecuted, physically or mentally abused; those who are imprisoned or prevented from offering the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass or receiving Holy Communion.

We pray for those priests living under Communist oppression.

Jesus Is Crowned with Thorns

We pray for priests who suffer for defending authentic Catholic doctrine.

We pray that all Bishops will uphold the true teachings of the Catholic Church and resist temptations to compromise doctrine.

Jesus Carries His Cross

We pray for all priests with heavy crosses; those who are weak, lonely, or have fallen from Godís grace in some way.

We pray for the Holy Father, who perhaps has the heaviest of crosses: the widespread persecution and abandonment of the Church from within or without.

Jesus Dies On The Cross

We pray for all priests who are in their last agony and those who will die today.

We pray for those who thirst for the salvation of souls.

We pray that the crucifixion of their wills may accomplish Godís designs for the salvation of the whole world.

We pray that priests may take Mary into their hearts, as St. John the Apostle, one of the first priests, took Mary into his home.

THE GLORIOUS MYSTERIES

The Resurrection

At times, priests may suffer from depression and despair that plague them when they see so little from their labors.

We pray that priests will remember: the Crucifixion is followed by the Resurrection; darkness is always followed by the Light.

We pray that all priests may share the joy of the Risen Christ.

The Ascension

We pray that priests may carry out Jesusí instructions to evangelize the whole world, instructing and baptizing countless souls.

We pray for missionaries who live lives of utter poverty and deprivation to bring the Gospel to all the people.

The Descent of the Holy Spirit

We pray that priests may be open to the graces of the Holy Spirit to strengthen them for the task of bringing souls to God and God to souls.

We pray that they may be on fire to convert the most hardened sinners, and to bring Godís love to the whole world.

The Assumption

We pray that priests will be devoted to Mary and find in her the love and comfort of a mother, the most powerful intercession of our greatest Saint, and the surest refuge against Satan and his cohorts who seek destruction of priests and the priesthood.

The Coronation

We pray that Mary, Queen of the Clergy, will be their model of faith and joy, and constant guide until they reach Heaven where a crown, jeweled with the many souls entrusted to them on the day of Ordination, will be their reward for faithful and loving service.

Let us pray: Father, Son and Holy Spirit, hear the prayers we offer for our priests. Let them know clearly the work that You are calling them to do. Grant them every grace to answer Your call with courage, love, and lasting dedication to Your will. We ask Maryís intercession as their loving mother. Amen.

Dear Lord, we pray that the Blessed Mother wrap her mantle around your priests, and through her intercession strengthen them for their ministry. We pray that Mary will guide your priests to follow her own words, ďDo whatever He tells you.Ē (Jn 2:5) May your priests have the heart of St. Joseph, Maryís most chaste spouse. May the Blessed Motherís own pierced heart inspire them to embrace all who suffer at the foot of the cross. May your priests be holy, filled with the fire of your love, seeking nothing but your greater glory and the salvation of souls. Amen.

Saint John Vianney, pray for us.
