Mindful eating has changed my life! Actually being mindful in general has.I see food differently and have not binged.I see a healthy lifestyle ahead and am looking forward to losing the weight. A couple times this year I fell of the wagon but have still not gained the ten pounds lost back.

i did pretty well at work today. i ate lightly for breakfast. i wanted a snack but realized i wasnt hungry, the back of my throat was dry so i had a mint to help moisten and help my throat. when it was done, i was find.at lunch we had free dilly bars so i ate that first for lunch. then had my chicken and potatoes. had watermelom for a snack in the pm.

supper did not go well. i visited my grandma at the hospital. she had hip surgery. my aunt and i helped her order her supper and breakfast for tomorrow.i started thinking about food. so i was hungry. i gave in and stopped and taco bell on the way home. not a great choice. but i did eat it slowly. i ate too much but at least i am not stuffed. i did not get a "meal deal" so that helps a bit with unnecessary items

Today was my first mindful meal. I have to say it was hard at first, because my flatmate was home and he had the tv on pretty hard, but somehow I pulled through.
I had a simple lunch, pea soup and seafood stir fry, but I was mindful for each bite. I though about the green color of the peas, and the texture they had in my mouth, the taste.
I was very present during the stir fry, it had shrimp, a little octopus, and crab, all with diferent tastes and textures, and the veggies, spinach is so meaty.
I have to say I really enjoyed it, I ate slowly, and I was mindful... I feel great!
