I'm glad you read this.

I like to see these questions all on our chat thread and then when I answer it's right there.

Some of our members don't go looking around the threads here.

So that is great.

there are so many articles. I just did a search under healthy life styles, using plateaus, and there were different thinks popped up.

Barbara- I just read some articles that you posted on another members wall about plateau's and on of the big 3 is rest. It has occured to me that on average I'm lucky if I'm getting 6 hours of sleep due to my little one getting up in the middle of the night and me getting to bed late. I'm going to try getting 8-10 hours of sleep and see if that helps me at all...

I didn't take it personally, was just trying to help you set it up to a private spark page, if that helped you.

hey barbara,
sorry if that post seemed directed at you. it WAS NOT. i just get nervous about online privacy. i was worried about setting it to private because i want people to add me as a friend if they want to, and i don't know if they will if they can't see my info. i don't want to shut out any sparkpeople, just non sparkpeople. make sense? i will think about my options. thanks!

I totally understand how you feel, did you know you can set your SparkPage to be private? And then only people who are your "Spark Friends" can view it?

So if I were to clik on your page and I'm not your friend, it would say private and the only way I could communicate with you would be through Spark Mail.

Just a thought to help you keep "stalkers" away. I have been here for almost 2.5 years and have been fortunate with no bad incidents.

i am not keen on sharing EVERYTHING on a website that is viewable by anyone on the web. that makes me nervous. if sp was a little more facebook where you at least have to be logged in as a member to view any pages, i would feel better. i had a slight issue with a stalker before, and i already feel i put too much up on my page for a random person to see. of course, i have been called paranoid in the past emoticon .

i know i personally have a very difficult time staying in my sodium range. i LOVE salt!! and as i mentioned in my blog about my progress, there are other issues i think i am having. i just don't know if i will ever be able to put up my nutrition tracker...

Am sorry you are not doing great.

I visited both of your Spark Pages and Raraavis you don't share your nutrition tracker. Do you use this? I like to look at them and see if I can find something that you might be doing wrong.

Also Doll, you haven't set up a Spark Page yet, so couldn't help you with a nutrition tracker.

Sometimes no weight loss due to not eating enough, or prepacked, or processed foods retain fluid, therefore no weight loss. You need to eat your fruits and veggies, lo-fat dairy, whole grains. No white foods, ie bread, pastas, starches or sweets.

sorry to hear about your frustrations! i wish i could help, but i too have been on here for a month and have lost NOTHING. i have upped my workouts from 30 minutes to and hour (just did this, so i don't expect to see results). i also had gone over my calories at least 7 days out of the month. so it kinda makes sense for me why i have not lost. i hate my scale; it totally messes with my head. however, i do get to take my measurements on thursday. i am hoping against all hope that i at least lost some inches! i also noticed that i can make it through my workouts easier, and i am starting to get some muscle back. so try to measure your success in different ways to keep yourself from being frustrated. just remember, don't give up!

I know I don't post on here much but I'm so frustrated! In the last month I've lost 1 lb. 1 stinkin' poung and I feel like I'm killing myself just to get that stupid pound. Granted I had a baby 5 months ago and I know my body is adjusting still. I have just never had this much trouble losing weight before. Any advice? I switched up my workouts about a month ago, and instead of regular weight lifting, I'm doing a circut training program of weights and cardio in circut fashion 2 times a week for an hour, zumba 2 times a week for an hour and rep reebok (weight lifting) 1 day a week for an hour. I'm trying to log in every single thing I put in my mouth on a daily basis, somedays yes I forget. But I thought I was doing better....Okay, I'm getting off the pitty pot now, thanks for letting me vent.
