This week was hard being away on vacation but I think I did pretty well. It was easy to eat well MOST days cause I stuck to grilled chicken, grilled shrimp and lots of salad. Expect the days that we were crazy busy and had to stop somewhere quick :( but I'll be back on track!!!!

This week we’re going to focus on the word SUMMER

S: Sleep: We all know that 8 hrs of sleep is best, but as MOMMYs, that isn’t always possible. We’re going to shoot for 6 hours of sleep each night to earn 25 points daily.
U: Unwind – Stress can hinder your weightloss so we’re going to take 15 minutes each day to ourselves to just unwind. List on your points tracker what you did and earn 25 points.
M: Move – Getting up and active is the only way we’re going to lose the weight and keep it off. For every minute of fitness you complete (cardio or strength training), earn 1 point. There is no limit to how many fitness points you can earn each day.
M: Motivate – The last couple of months we have put a lot of emphasis on posting on the various chat threads within our team. We recommend you continue to use those threads to help motivate each other, but we also know it isn’t possible for everyone to get online long enough to do everything everyday. To motivate each other this week, we want you to pick one of your fruit team members each day and post a comment on their SparkPage or blog. You should not use the same person everyday. You will earn 25 points for this post.
E: Energize – One of the best ways to ensure that you have enough energy to complete all of your daily tasks is to eat the right number of calories. You will earn 25 points for each day that you stay within your SP-indicated calorie range.
R: Reward Yourself – Earn bonus points each day by posting a blog. It’s time to toot your own horn and tell us about your day. Posting a blog about your day will earn you 25 points. On Friday or Saturday (the 7th or 8th this week) you are required to post your Weekly Update blog. S: Sleep: We all know that 8 hrs of sleep is best, but as MOMMYs, that isn’

This week we’re going to focus on the word SUMMER

S: Sleep: We all know that 8 hrs of sleep is best, but as MOMMYs, that isn’t always possible. We’re going to shoot for 6 hours of sleep each night to earn 25 points daily.
U: Unwind – Stress can hinder your weightloss so we’re going to take 15 minutes each day to ourselves to just unwind. List on your points tracker what you did and earn 25 points.
M: Move – Getting up and active is the only way we’re going to lose the weight and keep it off. For every minute of fitness you complete (cardio or strength training), earn 1 point. There is no limit to how many fitness points you can earn each day.
M: Motivate – The last couple of months we have put a lot of emphasis on posting on the various chat threads within our team. We recommend you continue to use those threads to help motivate each other, but we also know it isn’t possible for everyone to get online long enough to do everything everyday. To motivate each other this week, we want you to pick one of your fruit team members each day and post a comment on their SparkPage or blog. You should not use the same person everyday. You will earn 25 points for this post.
E: Energize – One of the best ways to ensure that you have enough energy to complete all of your daily tasks is to eat the right number of calories. You will earn 25 points for each day that you stay within your SP-indicated calorie range.
R: Reward Yourself – Earn bonus points each day by posting a blog. It’s time to toot your own horn and tell us about your day. Posting a blog about your day will earn you 25 points. On Friday or Saturday (the 7th or 8th this week) you are required to post your Weekly Update blog. S: Sleep: We all know that 8 hrs of sleep is best, but as MOMMYs, that isn’t always possible. We’re going to shoot for 6 hours of sleep each night to earn 25 points daily.
U: Unwind – Stress can hinder your weightloss so we’re going to take 15 minutes each day to ourselves to just unwind. List on your points tracker what you did and earn 25 points.

I just want to clarify for everyone... regarding the Sleep portion of this week's challenge, you may count the hours from the night before or the night of. For example, for today, you can count the hours of sleep you got last night or count the hours of sleep you actually get tonight. The only thing is that whichever way you choose, you need to use that method for the entire week. Sorry if there was any confusion!

S: Sleep: We all know that 8 hrs of sleep is best, but as MOMMYs, that isn’t always possible. We’re going to shoot for 6 hours of sleep each night to earn 25 points daily.
U: Unwind – Stress can hinder your weightloss so we’re going to take 15 minutes each day to ourselves to just unwind. List on your points tracker what you did and earn 25 points.
M: Move – Getting up and active is the only way we’re going to lose the weight and keep it off. For every minute of fitness you complete (cardio or strength training), earn 1 point. There is no limit to how many fitness points you can earn each day.
M: Motivate – The last couple of months we have put a lot of emphasis on posting on the various chat threads within our team. We recommend you continue to use those threads to help motivate each other, but we also know it isn’t possible for everyone to get online long enough to do everything everyday. To motivate each other this week, we want you to pick one of your fruit team members each day and post a comment on their SparkPage or blog. You should not use the same person everyday. You will earn 25 points for this post.

Because the month starts on Friday, we are going to make Week 1 a long one. The challenge will start on Friday, July 1st and run through Saturday, July 8th.

This week we’re going to focus on the word SUMMER

S: Sleep: We all know that 8 hrs of sleep is best, but as MOMMYs, that isn’t always possible. We’re going to shoot for 6 hours of sleep each night to earn 25 points daily.
U: Unwind – Stress can hinder your weightloss so we’re going to take 15 minutes each day to ourselves to just unwind. List on your points tracker what you did and earn 25 points.
M: Move – Getting up and active is the only way we’re going to lose the weight and keep it off. For every minute of fitness you complete (cardio or strength training), earn 1 point. There is no limit to how many fitness points you can earn each day.
M: Motivate – The last couple of months we have put a lot of emphasis on posting on the various chat threads within our team. We recommend you continue to use those threads to help motivate each other, but we also know it isn’t possible for everyone to get online long enough to do everything everyday. To motivate each other this week, we want you to pick one of your fruit team members each day and post a comment on their SparkPage or blog. You should not use the same person everyday. You will earn 25 points for this post.
E: Energize – One of the best ways to ensure that you have enough energy to complete all of your daily tasks is to eat the right number of calories. You will earn 25 points for each day that you stay within your SP-indicated calorie range.
R: Reward Yourself – Earn bonus points each day by posting a blog. It’s time to toot your own horn and tell us about your day. Posting a blog about your day will earn you 25 points. On Friday or Saturday (the 7th or 8th this week) you are required to post your Weekly Update blog. It MUST include a recap of your week (your strengths and struggles) and what you hope to achieve in the coming week. You will earn 100 points for the Weekly Update blog. (NOTE: You only get points for one blog per day and will not earn 25+100 at the same time… it’s one or the other on Friday/Saturday based on whether it’s a daily blog or your Weekly Update). Failure to complete a Weekly Update blog will result in a loss of 100 points.
