keep plugging away at it... don't get discouraged if there's no change.. just know that you are on your way and keep going.... my measurements weren't all that great either.. only lost and inch this month and it was on my thighs but i keep going

Soooooooo discouraged. Worked out (30 min. Cardio and/or weights every day but one), journalled food, got to bed at more decent times, drank my water, and lost 0.2 lbs. !!!!! ARGH. going to take measurements but not encouraged. :(((

I had a crap weigh-in and was up 2 lbs. Trying so hard to convince mysel it's OK but it's so darn early in the process to slide backward. That darn slippery slope. Need to take a garbage to the pantry and rid the house of food that, really, isn't good for anyone here.

yeah i did some push ups and sit ups and squats the other night to get a little workout in... i know that mommy time is important so i can allow myself to be ok with it... of course i gained a half a lb back this week but that's ok i'll get it off again

Oh I hate when a planned w/out doesn't happen but that goes with being a mom. Precious people depend on you. I'm sure you've had to miss before now in your journey and you've still done so great. It's OK. you will not regain 28 lbs. for missing a few workouts. It's life and you're living it. Yes it's disappointing no doubt but you will get back to it because you want to. If you didn't miss getting your workouts in then I'd worry because you would have lost your drive and ambition. Just try to do something at home. Stage your own butt kick. Do a floor routine for legs an butt. I've been doing one that had me bracing myself just to use the loo (sorry) the first few times. I'd be happy to share it if you want. It's just something I put together one day when I too couldn't get out or get any cardio in. In fact, I've been self-talking myself into doing it tonight as we were out at appointments in the city (1.5 hours away) all day with our son and couldn't get a w/out in. That's where I'm going now. No equipment required.

grr i'm upset about tomorrow.. i was planning on going to a kick butt workout at my gym but my mom has to work until 8 so i have no one to watch him... guess i'll be doing something at home.... i haven't been able to workout at all this week and it's killing me

yup didn't work out much at all but that's how it goes.. couldn't eat for 2 days either so i am down 3 lbs but it's all going to come back on because i am back to eating again... i would rather lost it the healthy way than that way...

sugar isn't a problem for me but don't worry i have had my share of setbacks and have come back from it... i also focus on inches lost as well as pounds because if you are losing fat and gaining muscle some weeks you will see no difference in your weight at all and this seems to really disappoint people.. i measure every month to see where i have come in my progress

Sorry to hear about the stomach bug. Must have really sapped your energy. I am not looking forward to this week's weigh-in. I did NOT stick to plan this weekend and it's mo one's fault but my own. It was my son's birthday. Damn sugar. You have a bit and it's like a drug... You news more and more.

Back on track today as I eat my steelcut oats.

ok i had a little set back.. got sick with the stomach flu so i haven't been able to workout at all this weekend... i am just now getting back to eating normal food after 4 days of yuckiness...

i'm doing great.. i hit the gym tonight and worked my butt off... i cant wait for weigh in on wednesday to see progress and i do measurements in a few weeks to see how i am going that route

Hi I haven't been on most of this week, but I have been able to lose 2 more lbs. It has been a little warmer here so my family and I have been outside and my oldest son and I got to a chance to spend some time together so I have found out that I am still not that great at Mario Bros. the one for the Wii. :)

Hi, I'm Kristy. I have 4 kids ages 18 months, 3 1/2 and my oldest turned 9 on Wednesday. I want to weigh 147 by the end of Feb. I wentv to get establishedwith our new PCP today and found out I've lost 8 lbs in the last month. It is hard, but I'm doing what I've set out to do for myelf and my family.

Hi there! So this is my first challenge and I'm new to the boards so I hope I do this all right.

My name is Tina. I have a long weight history that is best read on my page- shorter fir me than rewriting it here. I have struggled to lose even the tiniest amount of weight for years and I'm sick of it. I am on the way up and not down. I've gained 13 lbs. since last year. Not good.

I'm 5'2" and am currently 143.4. My ultimate goal is to be 120. Scaling that down, I'm aiming for 130 by my 45th birthday in April. Yes. 45. So ti set a goal for the end of this challenge, I'm going to aim to lose 9 lbs. by the end of Feb.

I have an amazing supportive hubby of 15 years. We've actually been together 21 years! We have two blessings: a boy who is nearly 11 and a girl who is 7. Our son has a devastating neuromuscular disease called Spinal Muscular Atrophy and has courageously outlived his prognosis of not living beyond age two. We work hard at keeping him alive, thriving and happy. I often can't leave home for days or weeks on end when he is sick. Sooooo my workouts can be really sporadic. I workout at home but my son can never be left unattended. I also stress eat and must constantly fight that. It's a behaviour I need to change because the stress is not going away.

Well I've said enough. I look forward to learning more about each of you and sharing this journey with you.

Hey I'm Tabby, i'm Denise's friend and she refered me to this site and i love it!!! I'm 177lbs and i have already lost 30lbs, but i would like to lose 30 more!! I have a beautiful little girl that is 14months old and I want to beable to be her for her AND keep up with her...lol!! I have noticed latley that i need a little extra support with all this weight losing, ive gotten a little lasy, so im hope i can meet some new people to help me out with that.

Hi there!!! My name is Denise, I have two beautiful amazing little girls Laykin and Paetyn. Laykin will be turning 3 on the 18th and Paetyn turned 1 on Dec. 10th! When I started this I weighed in at 231, I currently weigh 227 and I'm so proud!! :) lol. I want to be at least 175 but even less than that is fine with me! I definitely need the motivation to keep this up, I usually give up on the first day but here I am almost 2 weeks in :) Would love to meet some other friends as well.
