Hubby and I went out on the paddle boat today. My first time. He is turning a Hobie Cat into a paddle boat. We were out padling for a little over a half hour.

08/24-60 more minutes pulling up plants, hoeing & raking in the garden.

08/25-45 min. pulling vines & weeds in the garden.
maybe in the hayfield later today. Will add it if I do go to the hayfield.

90 min. walking & loading hay onto the trailer.

I had really good intentions when i started this Forum. I just cant get in the exercise groove. i thought DH would help after his surgery. I guess he's helped a little. We do squeeze in a walk here and there. but the rain in the afternoons is realy impeding those efforts.

Here's hoping for clear skies and cool breezes...

Finally!!! After three wasted nights, two lengthy phone calls to the router company, and the threat of a $129 service call charge from Dell!!

I was about ready to send the mini-laptop back, when DH just happened to click on the right icon!!!!!

And the next thing i know, he's chatting with me on Facebook (from the couch behind me!!!!)

Now, maybe i can work in exercise again, instead of crawling around on hands and knees under a desk all night!!

I don't think that Farm Town would count as cardio, but would be a good mind, eye, hand exercise. Gotta exercise those muscles,too :)

We all fall off track. And it is HARD to get back on, but YOU are worth it. Try starting over with just 1o minutes a day & build up from there.

08/16--30 min. gardening, 60 min. mowing grass & 45 min. swimming.

Under on calories-I get busy & forget to eat.

Yes I have a Wii Fit and EA Challenge thing and I was doing so good working with both of them everyday and felt good and then lots of things happened and I stopped. You know what that means you don't start back.

I have got to get some of this weight off, I feel really bad and my BP has been doing weird things up and down. But mostly my heart rate is staying up way high..in the 100's...I know that's not good.

Extra credit for wet grass! Yuck!

Denise, i know exactly how you feel. That's how i felt for probably 6 months. Do you have a Wii Fit? i know that really got me back into exercising. it's fun, and not too taxing, but at least it gets you moving.

Denise. Motivation: To look hot and attract one of those fine cowboys !!! Ain't that motivation enough??

08/05--30 minutes picking veggies-1-1/2 hrs on the riding mower, 1-1/2 hrs with the push mower.
The grass was knee high & still soaking wet!

Okay I'm not avoiding you ladies, I'm just not doing anything right now. I need to, but I can't seem to get motivated. I have good intentions but get home and I'm so tired I don't exercise or even eat properly. Lots going on emotionally and I guess I'm letting it get in the way with all of it.

Saturday, 8/1, i bought a Wii game - EA Sports "Active". i worked in the yard for an hour, and then went to MIL's for dinner, so i didnt use it Saturday.

I started the 30-Day Challenge with it yesterday. i selected a moderate intensity workout. it kicked my butt!!! it was fun, and i sure did work up a sweat. i didnt expect so much running, and im not used to that-not even in place.

when i was finished, i just laid in the floor-and fell asleep!

Day 2 today!

I know we all have other teams/activities we are involved in that relate to our health/nutrition/fitness goals. Let's try to incorporate some of that into our 'social' team too.

Let us know what you did to Spark today. Did you walk for 30 minutes, do some gardening, eat an especially tasty, Spark-worthy meal? Whatever you're doing, it might inspire us to follow suit.
