Mom and Dad are coming for a visit Thursday and we are going to some of the smaller towns that they grew up in and around which are closer to me now than them. They live just east of Toronto and I'm further east by about an hour's drive. I imagine we will have lots of little walks through the towns we visit :)

Tuesday about 20 minutes walking laps at a snails pace in the pool, Wednesday nothing felt crappy so slept all day. Thursday hopefully cable, and or cycle along with playing with my little niece. :)

Tuesday I had to travel to another city to see my doctor so exercise was out for then.
Wednesday has a lot of walking downtown in it, some heavy housework to do before my parents come Thursday for a visit and then my seated exercise routine.

Today I have no goals, but tomarrow I am planning on hitting the gym before work and after work. I need to do cardio and strength!

Monday I plan on doing my Total Body Seated Workout adding to that seated cardio ideas that I came across last week. Who knew you could raise your heartbeat and sweat while being seated :)

I tried doing yoga last night but was just way too tired all day yesterday to do anything! today was a much better day. I started my day at noon with spinning, then strength then spent the afternoon/evening with my parents, niece, and baby sister. We had a blast, dinner, movie, dancing, singing, games, and so much laughing. :) it was a blast!

PS my goal is 30 minutes of cleaning. I will start here in a min.

Sharleen, I'm sorry you are feeling overwhelmed, but you have the perfect resolution for it. Doing some form of exercise helps relieve tension and anxiety and actually will LIFT one's mood. Let us know how you are doing again today? There are a lot of coping strategies in the forums if you look. As my parents often remind this 42-year-young lady, This too shall pass. :)

My Fitness Goals today, Wednesday, are to do my Total Seated Body Workout, which does a lot more than I first gave it credit for! It takes about a half hour to 3/4 of an hour.
I need to get groceries and that will get me out and walking. And, if my back is not done for the day by that time, I have laundry yet to walk down to the laundry mart using my walker to put the laundry on and of course, to help me walk without the extreme pain. :)

Sunday is my day of rest for the faith I believe in so there will be no Intentional exercise today. If I am able to do housework or something needs to be done, so be it, but no intentional fitness is scheduled at this moment.

It's not Thursday any more (I'm almost a week behind on my spark emails) but today I want to get in at least 30 minutes, preferably more, of cardio. I think I will go for a walk as long as long as the radar shows no rain--I want some sun.

(not sun-tan; I'll use sun screen. I just want to be outside enjoying the sun after so much rain).

Mine for today is just to make it through the day. Had a temp crown put on yesterday and am in a lot of pain, on top of that I have not felt good the last 2 days and have a very bad sinous/tension headache so I will see at the end of my 8 hour shift if I can make it through. :)

One way to keep yourself accountable to exercise if you find it hard to stay motivated is to post what you are planning on doing and then being able to come back and say you were able to do it, something more important came up, or you didn't make your goals and reflect on why.
I have a picture of one of the USA's first presidents daily task list per hour. The very first thing he has down is:
WHAT GOOD DO I WANT TO ACCOMPLISH TODAY?
He then has his day planned out hour by hour or sometimes minute by minute.
At the end of his day on that same piece of paper he writes:
WHAT GOOD DID I DO TODAY?
Below, he writes whether he was successful or not. He did the same thing his whole life as a president and I am sure he did it in his day to day life. I'll see if I can find that picture and post it for you all to see.

So, what are your Fitness Goals for Thursday?
I have to go out and do some grocery shopping so that will be quite a bit of walking. I am also going to use resistant tubing for my sitting/chair strength exercises.
