Count me in on this challenge! Sunday May 1 I walked for 27 minutes and danced for 90 minutes. Monday May 2, I did 20 minutes of strength training, 30 minutes of walking and 40 minutes of dancing. Culmative = 207 minutes.

i am so happy that my cousin annie, known as mommy445, has joined sparkpeople. we were born about a year apart and we are best friends.

Great idea!!! I'm in! I've even found some workouts for people who can't exercise due to being in wheelchairs or due to extreme pain conditions or limited mobility. Chair exercises they are called. Looking forward to it!

I'm sure that we would all agree that doing exercise goes a long way towards
stress reduction ! With Mother's Day coming soon, I thought that we could
all keep track of our Fitness Minutes, and put them towards "earning " some
Mother's Day items for you, or your Mom. You don't have to be a Mom - the
objective is to keep active, and keep track of your Fitness Minutes !

The Mother's Day items are as follows :

1 sprig of orchids 25 Fitness Minutes

1 vase of flowers 50 Fitness Minutes

1 stylish hat 100 Fitness Minutes

1 stylish purse 200 Fitness Minutes

1 pair of stylish shoes 200 Fitness Minutes

1 new hairstyle 200 Fitness Minutes

The Fitness Minutes will be comprised of the time you have clocked,
while doing your work-outs, no matter which work-out you have chosen.
My favorites are walking and swimming, but there are many others that
you may want to do ; just keep track of your time !

I would like everyone to report their Fitness Minutes and Activity in, to this
Thread. I would appreciate it if you could keep a running total of all your
Fitness Minutes. I will award a Mother's Day item, when it has been earned.
You can always advise me on which item you would like to be earning, and
when I see that you have reached the right number of Fitness Minutes, I will
post your goodie, to your SparkPage !
