Day 3 Challenge: Practice deep breathing techniques. Deep breathing has been shown to reduce stress as well as bring down our heart rate and blood pressure. This technique is used by people of all walks of life, from business execs to athletes.

Sit or stand- then slowly inhale through your nose for 5 counts allowing your diaphragm to expand then slowly exhale through your mouth for the count of eight. Try not to raise your shoulders when breathing. Do this 5 times several times throughout the day.
