Jeff--Glad you are making progress, even if it's slow! Thanks for the update.

I just watched a webinar on the Molecular Dynamics of Snowflake formation. Super interesting.

Hi!

I realize I didn't post any goals, but here I'll post an update anyway.

So either back in December or earlier this month... I was down to like 240. Now back up to 245 or 246. Probably water weight?

(1) No success with weight this month. Not surprising, given that we had the Christmas snacks to eat up, and I'm taking on new jobs at work, at least temporarily.

(2) I'm doing better but still not great at testing blood sugar every day.

(3) Caffeine is still under control.

(4) Soda is UNDER CONTROL, but I still drink it. If I don't make switching to bottled tea instead of diet Coke a goal for February, someone could remind me :-) If y'all don't mind.

(5) Doing pretty good with all my mindful eating and veggie/salad/fruit goals. Like maybe 7 out of 10.

(6) I had been exercising... then the table got cleaned off and coats got stacked on bike. I need to fix that.

Jeff

Loren--thanks for the update. Here's mine:

1. Track food daily and stay within calorie range. I've been avoiding this because I "don't have time". I need to make the time.
Doing better, but still hit or miss for full tracking. I am mostly eating less and healthier.

2. 1,000 minutes of exercise for the month.
I'm currently at 935 minutes. Should easily make it.

3. 8,000 steps daily. I need to get back to this.
This is hit or miss. Some days are great. Others not so much.

Alright, less than a week to go. Here is my update.

1) 10,000 steps a day, stretch goal to have a daily average of 13,000 steps
Doing well. My average is just below or just above 13,000 depending on the day.

2) Start a walk/jog training program.

I stopped this when things froze over. Once it warms up, I am going to try running instead of jogging.

3) Healthy Eat which includes:
==Weekly meal planning
Not doing great here. Wasting less, but no solid plan.

==Eating until 80% full
I love food. So not really.

==Salad everyday
Yes, minus yesterday. :( I was eating away from home and there were not veggies available.

==Eating to control migraines (not missing meals, no sugar crashes)
Doing okay here. Had three in a row, but i think I may have found a trigger food. I have stopped eating it and things have improved.

==Try one new recipe
Tried three. One was good, one was okay, one was not good.

4) Do Weight Training 12 times per month
On my way. Shooting for 15 since we have an extra week

5) Learn guitar by practicing at least 10 minutes 5 days a week
Still going daily. I am really really slow at learning this. But I have had some improvement.

6) Declutter my closet clothes
I have the rest of the week to get to this....

How about you?

Loren--thanks for the check in. You're making good progress.

As for me:

1. Track food daily and stay within calorie range. I've been avoiding this because I "don't have time". I need to make the time.
I've done this about half the days this month, which is much better than I have been. Need to do better.

2. 1000 minutes of exercise for the month.
I'm already over 600 minutes this month and we're a little beyond the halfway part of the month. I should be able to reach this goal.

3. 8,000 steps daily. I need to get back to this.
It's been hit or miss. A little better than last month, but needs some more consistency.

Started this. I am taking it slow. I am working on walk/run instead of jog. Not sure if i can keep it up though.

3) Healthy Eat which includes:
==Weekly meal planning
Mostly

==Eating until 80% full
I love food. So not really.

==Salad everyday
Yes

Doing really well. Had one migraine and it was food related.

==Try one new recipe
Tried two.

4) Do Weight Training 12 times per month
On my way.

5) Learn guitar by practicing at least 10 minutes 5 days a week
Doing this daily so I don't forget
