63 here. I have known since university ( don't ask how long ago because I'll lie about it) that I am a type "A" personality. It served me well in school but has become a detriment to me now. I find I am my own worst enemy, always criticizing myself for not doing better, not looking better or saying the wrong things. I am a SAHM who thinks she should me more like Marry Poppins - "Practically perfect in every way".

It's insane to repeat the same behavior while expecting a different outcome.

For those of you who are type A personality, hard-driven and are wanting to slow down, take a look at my most recent blog. It talks about this very thing.

57 points: type A also. Hmmm....maybe there is a connection here. I was just discussing this with my wife and came to the conclusion; while I'm relaxed with the kids in the classroom and am very flexible, I am also the one who will go in way early and leave way late. So, I think this personality works well for me. I have always said I feel I work better the more I have going on. It might not be a good thing, but that's how I have always been

54 points - also type "A" hard-driving personality,
now I know why I am always "crazed". I grew up listening to "don't just sit there reading - do something productive" - is it a wonder I'm a "nut-case" - just kidding, I just push myself too hard and go from one project to the other...trying to get them, all finished at the same time....ugh....
