You all have such great advice! I have been feeling overwhelmed with my schedule also.

Thanks for the tips!

I too have a busy schedule. I get an hour for lunch and have started walking for 30 minutes of my lunch. The little things help. Don't give up. emoticon

Your schedule is booked! Through all of that i'm sure you do alot of walking so I would invest in a pedometer and wear it everyday. That way you can make sure you get in 10,000 steps each day and work on increasing that amount gradually. Also you can do some strength training exercises (a mini workout without breaking a sweat) throughout the day during free moments. Also, if you have a deskjob you can switch out your chair for a ball and that will help you to strengthen your core while you work.

Don't wait until everything is just right. It will never be perfect. There will always be challenges, obstacles and less than perfect conditions. So what. Get started now. With each step you take, you will grow stronger and stronger, more and more skilled, more and more self-confident and more and more successful.

Wow you have a full schedule. I can relate although my schedule is not that crazy anymore. Up at 4am work 5:45 to 2:15 and I have a short commute and my kids don't have a lot of activities that require my assistance but still I'm wiped out. I don't want to go to the gym after working. I am planning on getting a Wii soon. I don't know if you have one, but I am hoping that kinds of helps fill in the gap when I don't feel like going to the gym. Other then that all I can say is do what you can when you can.

I am having some SERIOUS motivation issues! I have felt beyond lazy, lately. I haven't gained any weight because of it....yet....but I am afraid I will. I know I'm making excuses, but I honestly feel like I do not have time, at all, to work out! There is no excuse at all for me not eating healthy, except that I am just not doing it like I should. But the working out thing is really bugging me. I literally don't have time. I already get up at 4:30 a.m. to shower, get myself ready for work, wake my son up and get him ready for school, take him to the babysitter, drive almost an hour to work, work until 5:30 p.m., sit in traffic and get home between 6 and 6:30 p.m., take my son to practice for whatever sport he is playing at the time, go home, take showers, do homework, eat dinner, and go to bed. This is 5 days a week. Where am I supposed to fit exercise into that schedule?! Weekends are generally filled with laundry, cleaning the house, running errands, and TRYING to catch up on much needed sleep that I didn't get during the week.
