You know, it just might be. I read somewhere about that. I'll see if I can find the article for you. It was something about the false sugars messing up our system and tricking our bodies and then it hangs on to the weight.

Even just cutting it down slowly might help. You never know, right? Worth a try.

senior moment....lol

being my weight is not coming off but I'm not gaining either I'm giving up diet pepsi, I have too.
I think that's the culprit.
I'm drinking a 2 liter a day, I guess being its diet it should not matter but I guess it does.

Lemgirl - are you just checking to see if I'm awake? Your answer didn't match your question, lol!

My biggest problem giving up is cookies. I gave up soda, pretty much, and other things, but not cookies.

Since you started your journey, has there been one food or drink that you have not been able to give up, but would like to? Would you go cold turkey or would you slowly wean yourself off?
