Thanks, TXHRT4U! One other question. Do I run the race using the 1:30/0:30 ratio of the short runs or the 1:00/1:00 ratio of the long runs? I don't remember!

Great job SEAJESS! Since you are 2 wks out, I would recommend to start tapering down now. You will do great on race day!

Thanks, Sharon! I have to admit, 7 miles sound really sweet for LSD. I'm still comfortably loping along then; it will feel like playing hooky from running to quite at 7!

My worry was that I would lose conditioning but that's not going to happen in just five days with two "shortie" runs inbetween, right?

Thanks so much for sharing your experience with me! Hope I finish.

Hi SeaJess!

You have been doing great!! WOW! 14 miles.

I am not sure what schedule you have been following but if I were where you are, I might do
13-14 miles
6 - 7 miles
than race day 13.1. That's just what I would do. I only use training schedules as guides.

Awesome Job!! Woo Hoo!! Wishing you the best on your upcoming Half Marathon..

I have been stumbling along through what I remembered of my last half training program almost three years ago. I've been increasing my mileage on LSD on Sundays by one mile a week; last week I ran 14 miles. My race is in two weeks, on Saturday.

Question: What distance should I use for my LSD this Sunday?

Thanks, Oh Wise Ones! I'm just running to finish but I want to have fun and not be too exhausted for my first big nursing school exam of the quarter which comes two days later.
