I like to garden. Even turning dirt if a good thing for me. However, in the winter or when covered in poison oak, I use the treadmill for exercise. I hate the treadmill but it is fine with a movie or show. My dh bought me Bose noise cancelling headphones for Christmas and they make the treadmill far more comfortable!

I love the elliptical and I like the circuit training at PF. I do like the wii fit games but my favorite new things is the just dance for wii. If you are actually trying, that is a good workout depending on how long you do it. Me and my daughter do it together and she's just having fun while i'm exercising.

I love to walk and listen to audio books. If it is too hot or cold, I ride my stationary bike and catch up on my favorite shows.

When I had a gym membership, my favorite exercise was using the elliptical for an hour while watching my favorite reality shows. Now that I canceled my gym membership (was just getting too pricey), I workout from home with my DVDs. It's almost like getting personal training at home, and I know that at least I'm doing my exercises correctly (especially with strength training). Plus I have a heart rate monitor to tell me exactly how many calories I burned. My favorite DVD is Jillian Michaels No More Trouble Zones and Banish Fat Boost Metabolism.

If the weather is nice, I like to go walking outside. If not then I like riding the stationary bike or treadmill.

I have started walking a lot. I don't love it exactly, but in nice weather I like it, and especially if I walk with a friend or my DH. We also are lucky enough to live 1/2 km from our son's school so walking him to/from school twice a day round-trip is 2km walking.

We don't have a gym membership, but I do step bench at home when watching TV, and just recently discovered that I can do it all the way through a 2-hour episode of Biggest Loser.

In December we got a Wii and Wii Fit Plus and I enjoy those games--that really feels like playing, not exercise. I also got Biggest Loser for Wii, which is a good workout (lots of different routines at several different levels). That is my main workout 3 days a week, with walking or step bench on the other days.

I always love my treadmill. Best birthday gift ever from my hubby. :)

BUT recently I've bought Barry's Bootcamp. Today was day 3 and it's kicking my butt totally. I'm usually not one for workout DVD's, but this one is easy to follow and it's pretty good stuff! I was still sore today from the lower body portion I did Sunday. Actually my inner thighs were the worst and it's been hard for me to find something that works my inner thighs so well!

And of course in the summer, I do races. 5K's last summer, but I'll probably move up to 10K's this summer. :)

I love to use the Elliptical, but atm I do not have access to one - even my old treadmill isn't an option (it gave up the ghost) .. so atm walking outside is how I get my work out, that and some P90X as I have the room to do it

What types of exercise do you prefer? Do you have any clever ways of sneaking it in to your day without your brain noticing?

I really love my evening walk. It's so calming.

I also love skiing and bushwalking. I usually take the stairs and walk up escalators. I walk to the shops several times a week so I can carry back small amounts of groceries rather than having to drive once a week and bring back a heap of stuff. An added benefit is more room in the fridge and fresher fruits and vegetables.
