ad least you had 1. and it was small.

I didn't do exercise today but laundry and cleaning. I did eat fine.

Second day of the dog show and I successfully resisted the call of the cookie tray; but then succumbed to the bowl of Dark Chocolate Milky Way minis (at least I only ate 1).

I did achieve my Steps goal both days. emoticon

WE went out for dinner last night, because we had a gift certificate for his retirement. I had flamed cooked chicken with bar b q sauce. I had salad and broccoli , plus baked potato. I did put dressing/ butter on them. But that that huge amount they give you.I had it on the side. I did eat the cheesecake , but sense I didn't have lunch, and because of my diet changes ( I thought I earned it ).
'Today I've just had a large bowl of oatmeal and fruit. Basically, because I ate so much yesterday.

I'm trying to get rehydrated , it was 96 yesterday, and I was dizzy. Today is warm, but not as much.

I did get in a bike ride.

Avoided partaking of the Cookie tray emoticon that was set out at the dog show -- it contained 2 of my favorites (oatmeal raisin and white chocolate macadamia nut) and I had to walk past it at least a dozen times -- each time I had to make a conscious effort not to take one, and had even considered "maybe I'll just take that little broken piece" -- but I didn't.

today so far, had a good sized salad with some avocado and pumpkin seeds.

We went to the grocery store. I'll have something for dinner, and you be out of control during fellowship. They might have a cake for his b day yesterday and retirement.

Ate 3 meals and didn't snack throughout the day -- cleared thistle weeds out of flower bed instead.

I walked about 16 blocks. This was an errand to check in with a friend.

I resisted some poor food choices my spouse has, although I felt hungry for snacks. I ate a pear, a few nuts, sunflower seeds, and salad for lunch with left over pork tenderloin.

I also watered down the lemonade.

Taking Baby Steps, One at a Time.

This thread is to share with one another a daily health or fitness action you achieved today.

Did you say "No" to that sugary temptation?
Did you log/track everything you ate?
Did you drink enough water?
Did you exercise today - if only 5-10 minutes? (Even vacuuming, changing the bed sheets, or carrying groceries can count!)
What movement activity did you do to get you on your way to better health? (Get out of the chair at least once every 30 minutes)
Did you read a Spark article or something from Joyce that motivated or encouraged you?

Make it a point to celebrate your daily accomplishments along the journey.

Share it with us! Every small step counts, so let's share with one another & be proud of your success!
