I havenot been keeping up with my eating or walking plans, but yesterday was good, and today will be also.

today is January 9th, and yesterday I walked about 3 miles. I have been trying to keep up 1/2 hour a day at least 3 times a week. Blessings upon all of you today.

A couple team members have already indicated that WALKING is one of their 'resolutions' for the New Year. So I'm setting up an opportunity to record your successes in a team challenge. Official start date, tomorrow, January 2.

You will set your own daily goal, i.e. steps, distance, time, or even chair exercise. We're all at different fitness levels, so this is not a competition for who walks farthest or longest each day. Whether you share the specifics of your goal with the team is your choice, the main goal here is developing consistency.

You may choose to show how many steps you took, or how far you walked, or for how long, or just post an emoticon indicating that you met your personal goal that day.

I'll set it up so you can record daily if you like by just adding to/editing your first 'calendar' post or just catch up when you have a chance to check in on the team page.
