I went with Rewarding Resolutions this year.

My Rewarding Resolutions all deal with exploring my creativity.

I am getting better at knitting. I finished a scarf for my husband and will start one for my son this weekend.

I am learning more about crochet. I bought a book of crochet patterns and have made myself a pair of fingerless mitts. I have one made of a pair for my husband to match his scarf. I also bout a book to teach myself to read a crochet chart.

I collect and play with tiny dolls. I have been designing new clothing patterns for them and am currently working on a tuxedo pattern for a 4 inch doll. The pants and jacket are made of black linen and the shirt or an embroidered batiste.

Next month, my flute will go in for a tune-up so I can play it again.

I am also using a program to learn some Japanese, along with my son. emoticon

I didn't make a New Years Resolution. I prayed about it...I asked God for help because I could not do it without him giving me strength. Then on January 8th I came across SparkPeople. Now how's that for answered prayer?
Thank you my Heavenly Father. emoticon

I made no resolutions per se. I joined this team because I could barely walk and I knew I needed exercise for my D, my BP, and my intended weight loss. Since Thanksgiving I have lost 25 lbs and walking at least 30 min daily on a treadmill. I just want to say that all you ladies who have lost over 100 lbs are an inspiration to me and to everyone else who needs to, because U R living proof it is possible. Thank you. emoticon

this page lets you do everything except update your current weight. It makes no sense. I can never remember how to do it.

One of my resolutions was to go to bed earlier and get up and exercise earlier, and more often. So far, I have been pretty good about it. I also made the usual resolutions about losing weight etc. I feel like I might have lost a little bit, but my scale is broken, so I'm not sure! The last time I got weighed at the doctors, it said 6 pounds less than it home, and it is usually the other way around with clothes and such.

I didn't exactly make a New Years Resolution this time, I made a different one for each month. My January one was to eat 4 servings of fruit and 8 veggies per day, and I did GREAT on that during January and the first half of February.

Then my February resolution was cardio, and I was doing great on that till I got this injury. After that, (for the past week plus a couple days) I haven't gotten any cardio and have even slumped on my freggies.

But now I am back on track, and had my 12 freggies today and stayed in my calorie range. Tomorrow I'm going to do a chair workout without fail!

Thanks for reminding us about the Resolutions--we can be so PROUD of ourselves, next January, if we make it happen NOW!

We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit. ~Aristotle

It's NEVER too late to BE what you could have been!

My thoughts are wandering in the direction of the New Year resolutions that many of us made ..
Have we kept them thus far , or have it just all been forgotton?.
