Oh my goodness 30 more minutes. Yesterday I did a exercise video for legs it was 10 minutes. Today my legs are feeling it. Way to go O's

XM carries all the games. I listen to the O's at work on XM when there are day games. They have a whole schedule for all the games.

Plenty of available seats at Marlins games....and the WBC was awesome live. Of course, Brian Roberts joined Team USA after I saw the USA-PR game. Have to check XM to see if I get O's games.

I know that living in South Florida isn't exactly a hardship--but I understand how you miss going to Os games! If you don't mind putting out the money, you can buy a subscription to MLB.com Gameday Audio or MLB.com TV and listen/watch over your computer.

I'm glad you are taking part in our BASEBALL SEASON CHALLENGE #1. I'd like to hear from each participant what you did for each home run hit by an Oriole. I'll chime in when my health is better, but you'll have to carry on without me for awhile emoticon

That's good thinking, Tim. Some folks would push themselves to get the x-tra stuff done, then wear themselves out and then they would quit emoticon . We can't have that!!!!

I'm being a little facetious with that comment, but I do find that all of you are good with common sense. I have learned from experience that if you don't allow some flexibility and reasonableness as part of your plan, you will probably fail.

I'm doing mine on Wednesday morning. I had a meeting after work. I come in on Monday night at 7:30 p.m., and did not get home until 12:15 in the afternoon. I had to get back up at 5:00 p.m. to get ready to come back to work.

I was up and down most of the game, with the exception of the drive home from the office.

I got in my push ups and will be adding the 15 minutes to the cardio tonight.

How many of you did 10 jumping jacks, push-ups, squats, etc. when the Os hit a home run last night?

How many of you added 15 minutes to your day's cardio or strength training today?

Excellent idea Drive175! If we are at a place where we can do something physical when a home run is hit, then do push ups, jumping jacks, squats, whatever... that's quick to do. Save the extra 10 minutes of cardio, strength training and/or stretching for later.

I'VE GOT THE ORIOLES GAMEDAY AUDIO ON MY COMPUTER AND AM ANXIOUSLY WAITING FOR THE THE FIRST PITCH emoticon

Sounds good to me! Might I suggest that if you are watching the game on tv to get up and do 10 push ups for each home run as well? Or maybe do the extra 10 as cardio and march in place in a "Victory March" if you will, or "Healthy Home Run Jumping Jacks" (10 mins of that may be much though)

I promised to send this to you yesterday, but my DH needed the computer all day, so I had to wait until this morning.

O.K., here goes: For every home run the Orioles hit in a game, add a minimum of 10 EXTRA minutes to your workout the following day. The 10 minutes can be cardio emoticon or strength training emoticon or stretching. emoticon
Now, if they hit more than 3 home runs in a game, use your common sense. Put in as much extra time as you can manage without stressing yourself out.
