WOW ... way to hang in there. I am one of those who has to kick myself into exercise. I think I was born with an extra lazy gene which is probably the main reason I am at my current weight. I take it one step at a time and those steps are gradually becoming more numerous.

I call a friend when I am using equipment in my home.. It works for us. I also have a walking buddy. I enjoyed it when I was in a class.

I really do better working out with someone. So now I have my kids do it with me. We go for walks daily. So maybe I am being sneaky using them for my needs but it is also getting them healthy too..

Try walking to the store instead of driving.Walk around the mall.Try to find a workout buddy to help get you going.Lisa

Doing something active and FUN! Love cycling outdoors, kayaking, walking new routes.

Also: the right tunes will pump me up for ANYTHING! Choose your mp3 tunes carefully so that you just can't resist MOVING while listening!

You've really got to decide what "you" want and then devise a plan on how to get it. Sometimes we have to kick our own butts into gear to get started.

These days all it takes for me is looking back at pics of myself at my highest weight, never getting that big ever in life again, and then at my lightest weight, which is my goal weight.

That is all it takes sometimes for me to get off my butt and do my workouts. I also set up a 5 day system for myself, this works for me and may not work for everyone else, I workout to aerobics three days a wk and two days a wk I do yoga/toning.

This schedule keeps my energy level up and really helps me stay focused, finally ! : )
