Well it is official...up two pounds. UGH! Time to buckle down again. Bought a new digital scale so I can see better. It weighs a bit heavier than my old one...Bummer!

Current long range goal is to get down to 150 pounds and get really strong so I can hike again. I have a plan to buy the many things I will need for my dream flyfishing trip and have laid out which ones I can buy at each 10 pound loss.

I lost 2 lbs this week. Actually VERY good since I had two temptations to get through....Superbowl Sunday and our Red Lobster lunch. Do you realize those yummy RL cheese biscuits are 150 ea! Had some anyway and was a well-worthy treat for the good eating habits I've done so far.

Way to go Dawn..I'm so proud of you! Keep up the spark! I started my walking program yesterday, 1.2 miles in about 30 minutes. It wasn't too bad but I do feel it this morning. I only lost 1 pound this week but it is still a loss!

Today is my third week weigh-in. Down another 3 pounds for a total of 10. I'm beginning to see it in my clothes. My daughter and I will start our walking program next week (Tuesday) and I'm hoping that will add to my weekly weight loss. emoticon

I weighed in this morning and gained 1.5 pounds last week. Aagghh! I am doing so well with the watching what I eat. Although I do need to start excercising...haven't figured out a plan on that yet. I am blaming the gain on being bloated.

Well, I weighed in today. I did some damage during last week's week away for work. I gained a bit over a pound so I bumped it up a pound and a half. I don't see any business trips in the near future so I should be re-focusing and getting it done.

Great job everyone!!!

Me... I started at 255.5 last week, weighed in this morning at 254.5 so I dropped a pound from last week's weigh in. I think I'd have done better if I didn't go out last night with the wife and nephew to our favorite asian restaurant. I got my sauteed seafood chow mein special. I brought two thirds of it home but knew I was going to ruin my week.

Either way, I'll take that pound.

I weighed myself yesterdy and I'm down to 186. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I guess a couple of ounces was ok, but I would have been happier with at least 1 lb. Congrats on everyone elses weight loss.

So I signed up on 12/30 with a start weight of 270. I weighed myself this morning and am down to 264. Down 6 lbs in 1 week! Just by counting calories! That's a good way to start!

I lost 2 pounds the first week I was up and running fully. I feel sooooo much better, too!

I weighed myself as soon as i got up this morning and I weighed 186.8. I only lost 1 lb this week. I know its something, but I wanted to lose at least 2 lbs per week. Better luck next week.

I was disappointed when I gained 0.2 pounds for the week however, when I took my measurements I lost inches so the gain must be muscle and not fat. Woot.
