I dont think I really reward myself...unless you count buying new clothes as the old ones dont fit anymore. I also love buying shoes (usually on sale). I also get my nails done every two weeks(because hubby is trying to get me to go out and about people). And about every 3 months I get my pedicure(I have awful feet, but LOVE sandals.) So I guess in a way I do reward myself for taking care of me...not really for the weight loss but to let me know that all that hard work can make me FEEL good altogether. Hope that makes sense.

i've never had the weight loss/reward connection either because i think losing the weight IS THE REWARD for all the hard work.

i said that it was killer popcorn because of the reports the popcorn is 1,600 calories and 60 fat grams. if it really is , that is killer. i love that popcorn so much my son bought me a movie theatre popcorn popper for christmas. i have packets that have the coconut oil, salt and popcorn you put in the kettle. i decided saturday night to put the tobasco sauce into the kettle with the oil and om my God it was so good. the tobasco sauce cooked into the popcorn and it was so good. the packets make 4 servings and i always make room on my tracking for 2 servings. i researched the coconut oil and it is a heart healthy fat like nuts are.

I don't reward myself. I am losing weight for myself, not to get a reward. Whatever I want/need, I just buy along the way because I'm worth it now. Not if I lose weight. What if I don't? I don't get to enjoy life?

I really don't need that pressure; I have enough going on. And I am my own worst enemy. I put a lot of expectations on myself. I want to do so much that I DON'T get done due to time restraints or money. If I have the ability to "treat" myself as I go, I do.

FYI - I go to the movies so rarely that I DO treat myself to that high-calorie popcorn. With the butter! What's the point otherwise. LoL.

"How do you reward yourself?" This question was asked on the Community Board. I answered the question that I don't reward myself.

Since then I've been thinking about that answer. "Why don't I reward myself?" "If I did reward myself, what reward would I give myself?" "What do I love to do that I don't do anymore?"

The answer is -- MOVIES! I love going to the MOVIES!

DH hates going to the movie theater because it's hard for him to hear... so we just don't go. But I think that would be a perfect reward for me.

When I lose 10 pounds I will treat myself to the an afternoon matinee! YEP... GOING TO THE MOVIES! Only 3 more pounds to go and I'm going to take myself to the movies!

Do you reward yourself for your accomplishments? If so, what do you do?
