Congratulations on all those of you who lost this week!! And for those who didn't DON'T feel badly! It's only a benchmark for us to start from. We still can get'er done!!

Hey, I went to the doctor and I actually gained 4 pounds since Monday's weigh in!! It must be water or medication!

Speaking of water!! Drink, drink, drink!!

It's a known fact that when we stop focusing on the "BIG" picture, and attack a task in smaller increments it is easier to conquer the task at hand. This is true in whatever we try to do. Smaller, steady chipping away ... gets huge results!

In this challenge we are going to focus on losing 1 pound a week until the end of August. That's about 8 weeks! That could mean 8 pounds lost! Hey... That's like the size of a new born baby!! What do you say? Are you in with me?

Just 1 pound that's all I'm asking you to do!

Here's how this challenge works:
* Weigh in will be on Monday (you may either put your weight or just the number lost.)
* Just try your best to lose 1 pound every week
* Focus on staying in your target calorie count
* Remember to drink 8-10 glasses of water a day
* Attempt to get in 10 minutes of exercise every day
* Challenge will end on Sunday August 31st

Note: I've learned that you mustn't let your calorie intake drop too low or your body will go into starvation mode and hold onto the weight. So keep the calories coming in and burn them up!
