i also had noticed the different exercises !! lol
if we don't want one, we have 2 more to chose from before going to the main page for other choices.

LOL!! I noticed that too, and I thought I was losing it!! So pick the one that works for you, or find something. The idea was for us to just do something for our strength training. If you want you can do the ones that I am doing. I've been putting the link to the workout each day. (Problem with that... I'm in No. Calif and most have been up for hours before me!)

Sure thing.

I just thought Spark would stick to one a day. I read the first (modified it because I don't have a ball), then added it to my tracker for later. Then the second was different, so I added that too. When I saw the third different, I thought,"What's up?" That's when I wrote you.

I don't mind, just thought Spark would be consistent. LOL. I really am not that easily confused though. Was just wondering if I missed something.

I'm sorry I got you confused. I have a way of making people get confused. I'm sorry.

Here's what I thought we could do. There are "Exercises of the Day" in emails & on Spark. Actually the one in the email is what sparked the idea for this challenge, but do either the exercise from the email, the exercise found on Spark Page, OR pick your own if you wish. Just do one type of strength exercise a day.

Did that clarify it better?

I'm confused (easily). What is the exercise we are suppose to do every day?

On the Sparkpoint page, the exercise of the day is the Hip Flexor.

The Email "Exercise of the Day" is Concentration Curls.

In the email "Sparkpeople Food Showdown", at the bottom. they feature Hot Message Board Topics, Poll, and Featured Exercise. Their exercise is Dumbbell Triceps Extensions on Ball.

i did those wide squats with dumbbell and my knees have hurt all day!!! lol
i still managed to do 40 minutes on the bike.

i detest the plank exercises too !! i can never hold them the time length either. i just do it and say " i hate planks" as many times as i can !!!! lol all we can do is try them ... no matter how 'old" we are !!!! lol

today's featured exercise was wide leg squats with dumbbell and that was so much easier !!

Sorry-- this would be a duplicate if I didn't edit it. They were doing maintenance when the first one went through, but I didn't know it.

But about the modified plank - - I didn't know I was in this bad a shape until I tried holding that for 60 seconds. Hopefully, the only way is up. Sometimes I think that is never going to happen; that I'm too old.

Every day we receive messages from SparkPeople.com that are filled with good sound advice offering us suggestions on how we can reach our goals for a healthier lifestyle. We see them... but do we do them? This morning I was catching up on my Sparkmail from a couple days ago, and the exercise of the day (a couple days ago) was Yoga for the Abs the Modified Plank.
