I'll join in, although I'll have to start tomorrow since I'm at work and didn't bring my pedometer with me. I'd forgotten that we've done this in the past and it really helped me, especically since I have a "desk" job!

What do you say we do it ongoing for as long as you want it to continue! I'll post the totals at the end of each month.

There will be no 'winner' or 'loser' because we will ALL be winners if we keep moving!! Everyone who participates will get a Team Goodie at the end of the month!

I'm starting today! I found my pedometer and it is clipped to my waistband! I ready! Although today is my day to watch Hadleigh so all my steps will be chasing my little angel around. LOL!!

Quite a few of us are new to walking for exercise. Let's use this challenge to bring our walking up to the next level. For example if you are doing 4000 steps per day, the next day do 4001, then the next 4002. Or surprise and challenge yourself....go from 4000 to 4100. The purpose is to increase daily. Before you know it you'll be surpassing the recommended 10,000 steps a day!

Remember this is a journey and a journey begins with a step, then the next step and the next.

Use this forum to tell us how you have challenged yourself to take that extra step each day and your progress. Let's challenge and encourage each other to take that extra step daily!
