LOL... you think you need a smaller ball and I'm thinking I need a larger one! DH has a ball and it's too big for me. I know there is one in between these two sizes and I think I NEED THAT SIZE! Feeling a lot like Goldielocks and the 3 Bears! LOL

Energy Level 3 - Still not 100% with energy to get 'out there'

Stress Level 1 - I can honestly say I don't feel stressed.

Quality of Sleep 4 - Since my cold has improved I'm back with DH and he keeps waking me when I snore... Isn't that supposed to be the other way around?? LOL I may have to go back to the other room so I can get a full night's sleep! Buddy doesn't seem to mind my noise! LOL

Self-Esteem 4 - I feel good about myself, but wish I looked better. I always feel self conscience about my weight when I am in a group.

This was hard for me to evaluate. I had to think long and hard on what my true feelings are.

Energy Level-4

Stress Level-2

Quality of Sleep-4, would be 5 but I woke up with numb arms early in the morning. I've read up on it, symptoms of carpal tunnel syndrome, which isn't surprising, but I can usually get the blood circulating again & go back to sleep, which is what I did this morning.

Self Esteem-5,fitting in those one size smaller pants does wonders for your self esteem!

I agree this was a great article. Until coming to Sparks I wasn't aware of how important sleep was to losing weight.

I am in somewhat of a plateau in that my weight has not gone down very much since Christmas just keep hivering around the same number. Needed to read this article again.

that was another good article becky. it seems to be mentioned a lot in the articles the importance for sleep. i think we found out from the last challenge that is something most of us lack.

i lost 31 pounds on SP, then didn't have access to the computer for several months (college student stayed with my son & i couldn't access it), i got lazy, couldn't lose, hit the plateau, gave up, and regained 15 pounds. i joined the westie team, got motivated by all you ladies and as of yesterday... i have lost 7 of those regained pounds. hopefully i can get those 15 re-gained pounds off then tackle the rest of them.
there aren't enough words to express how grateful i am to all you ladies for your kindness, motivation, inspiration, support and most of all friendship. i wouldn't have lost a pound without you. thank you all so much !!!!!!!!!!!

Ha I need to get out of the starting gate first. 17 pounds gone since Dec 2, and most of that was water, and I would have lost more if I got discouraged from not having weight loss for several weeks back to back, was that a Plateau when you have 200 pounds to lose? This month I’ve stayed on the path and added one more thing to the equation……I will not weigh myself until the 1st of next month. Didn’t realize something so simple could be so difficult.

That was an interesting article. I don't think I've lost enought to reach a plateau yet. When I don't lose it's because I haven't followed the plan.

Mini-Challenge today Feb 4. Please read the following article "Part 2-Plateau Busters". Then tell us what you think, and if you have ever experienced hitting a plateau and whether or not you were able to bust past your plateau.

Plateau Busters - Part 2
Include Adequate Rest in Your Exercise Program
-- By Nicole Nichols, Personal Trainer

Before you inhale a bag of cookies to console yourself, realize that weight loss takes work, and isn’t always perfect. Luckily, there are plenty of ways you can re-energize your program (and motivation) to bust through your weight loss plateau.
