My total for the love challenge was 185. I posted the details on my blog. I hope that will be all right. I didn't get in any "timed" exercise, I just used housework and my usual leg lifts, squats & wall pushups that I do at work.

Sorry I missed the post on the colors - I just used those 5 colors as examples any 5 different colors would do - so you can go back and get credit for any 5 different colors - sorry for the confusion, but like Debra said my brain doesn't work too good either most days and those were the first 5 colors that came to mind-LOL


Not sure about the faux-veggie jello though-that's cute-LOL

my poor brain is long gone. i do the publishers clearing house search & win thinggy trying to win the millions (LOL)and had to do a search. so naturally i put in colors for fruits and vegetables. a website www.disabled-world.com had a chart of colored vegetables and fruit at the bottom to print out. so that is what i have been using this week. lots easier than trying to rack my empty brain!!!!!

Wow, thanks, Debra! Now maybe I can get my bonus points for the last two days. I've been standing in my kitchen going "Hmm, blueberries - blue, green -lettuce, ummm, orange - carrots and sweet potatoes, apple and v8 juice - red...now what other colors were there?" Then I'm counting the servings I've had on my fingers. This is definitely a "brain" challenge for me! LOL

purple grapes, i should think so . she said use 5 colors and just gave an example of red, orange, green, purple, and yellow. but there is also white and blue. purple has besides eggplant the purple grapes, purple cabbage, purple onion, plums, dried plums, prunes,raisins and endive. blue has blueberries , blueberry juice, black currants, blackberries, pomegranates, and elderberries. white has bananas, brown pears, cauliflower, dates, garlic, ginger, artickoke, jicama, mushrooms, onions, parsnips, potatoes, shallots, turnips, white corn, white nectarines and white peaches. i hope this helps, i found this color chart on a website to go by this week.

lisa, if you want to join in, it goes thru saturday. maybe you can track on paper and log it in saturday or sunday. it'll still count, i don't think beth will give the results til monday.

Thanks, Westiegal. I am feeling better today, thank the Lord. Will be able to make it to Bible study and our luncheon afterwards. Feeling very motivated to make up for yesterday. Will probably work out when I get home. I think the sun is shining, but you know, in Seattle, that can be a very temporary thing!

Julie_May I hope you're feeling better today, what a terrible thing to happen to you! Sending hugs your way. I did so-so yesterday. Wednesdays are the worst for me, I'm gone from 8am to 9pm, so don't really have time to workout. Husband and dogs demand I spend some time with them!! I ate my fruits and veggies, welcomed a new person & took a poll. But, todays a new day-hopefully I can do better!!

I think I pretty much failed today. I started out ok, had three different colors consumed by 2:00, but on the way to my mom's I got really sick to my stomach. Threw up after I got to her house, came home and went to bed for 2 hours with bad pain. I'm not feeling like I'm going to die anymore, but I definitely am not going to get 30 min. of exercise in! BTW, can I count the red jello I just ate as one of my colors? LOL

You're determined to get us all healthy, aren't you, Beth? After eating all those colorful foods, NONE of us should be sick for the rest of the month! (Except maybe sick of vegetables.) For the record, I think I'll leave the eggplant at the grocery store.

In honor of the month best known for love we are going to be doing a LOVE challenge. This challenge will run from Wednesday Feb 3 thru Saturday Feb 6.
