I'm going to add up the totals and close this Challenge down. Later, I will get put together a challenge that has to do with steps. We did really well on this challenge. It just lasted too long to keep everyone's interest. [Learning experience for your leader.]

Don't quit walking those steps just because this challenge is over. KEEP MOVING!

Monthly would be fine. I just have to remember to log my steps better! It's a good thing my pedometer stores the steps for 7 days! This stupid rain is keeping my exercise to a minumum!

OK. I think the interest in this 'weekly' tally has run out. We still need to walk, and we still need to keep track, but I think we should keep track 'monthly' and not weekly. I'll put togther another 'template' for us to use so we can keep a montly running total.

It's hard to imagine that we are into Week 21 of our Westie 5000 Steps a Day Challenge and the end of May!

I know it's been hard for everyone to keep up, because it's been especially hard for me too, but remember that every single step counts -- both for the team and MOST importantly of all -- for YOU! So keep moving Westie Fans! I'm moving along with you.

Ha, don't feel too bad - I was doing the same thing! I was keeping track of my minutes and steps and stuff on a sheet of paper and I noticed the other day that I had switched back to writing 4/7, 4/8, 4/9, etc. instead of 5 for May. We must not be doing enough cardio to get the blood all the way to our brains!

It's hard to imagine that we are into Week 20 of our Westie 5000 Steps a Day Challenge! I know it's been hard for everyone to keep up, but remember that every single step counts -- both for the team and MOST importantly of all -- for YOU! So keep moving Westie Fans! I'm moving along with you.

I just realized that I was making this much harder on myself than I needed to, I'm going to include your May 1st total with Week 18. Makes more sense to include it with the month of May. You don't have to do anything... I'll make the adjustment on the spreadsheet.

Becky,
I was thinking about this challenge and how many of us want to keep it going, but you had mentioned doing a new challenge. Why don't we do a new one, but incorporate the 5,000 steps a day into it? Maybe as a bonus if you do you 5,000 steps you get an X amount of extra points or something? Just an idea. We can still keep this going as well, but add something with it to spice it up!
