This is something another team I am on is doing and I think it is a great idea. I need some motivation at this time and I felt that I might night be the only one in this posistion. We will try to have different challenges throughout the year and a different blog to post your successes!! Please let me have feedback and tell me your ideas, etc.
OPINION POLL: 1-on-1 Challenge/Accountability Partner
We’ve been tossing around the idea about having a “one-on-one” challenge or an accountability partner for short periods of time to further motivate and encourage you to success.
Now some of you are in different weight challenges, so a weight-lost based challenge wouldn’t be good for you this month. However, what if you’re really struggling with drinking the water? How about tracking your food and staying within range? Is exercise your demon and you struggle to get any activity in? Would you like an accountability partner? Someone who would be your conscience, so-to-speak? Someone to report to daily how you did on whatever issue you’re struggling with? Maybe you two could challenge each other to reach a certain goal with that issue.
I'm interested in your opinion!!!! First, are you even interested in having a partner for a short time to help you achieve a particular goal? Second, if you are interested, would you like to communicate privately with that person through SPmail, or would you prefer to have a dedicated thread to your “challenge” where you two would post regularly to one another and other folks could read your thread and possibly post encouragement to you? Third, if you wanted a challenge partner, what kind of goal(s) would you like to achieve? Please post here all of your thoughts!! Your opinion matters! Remember this is YOUR TEAM and we want to make it great for YOU!!
