Congratulations to Butterfly1411 who walked a total of 1013 min. this month! This is an average of 33 minutes a day! A "HUGE" CONGRATULATIONS TOO on her exciting making and accomplishing her goal to lose 5 lbs! That is awesome!

Congratulations to myself also, FormerTeacher, for accomplishing the goal of walking l.5 miles by the end of the month! Did it even though it was not easy! :) This getting over gallbladder surgery has sure thrown me for a loop!

I CHALLENGE MYSELF TO EVERY HOUR DO 5 MIN OF EXERCISE. I WANT TO THIS AT LEAST 3-5 TIMES A DAY FOR 5 DAYS A WEEK.

Goal for October is to try to lose 5 pounds. I hope to be able to do it this month since I failed to do it last month.

My goal for October is to try to get to a mile and a half with walking again. I'll let you know when/if I get there.

10/3 R - Sister in law's funeral visitation. 0 miles
10/4 F - Sister in law's funeral. 0 min.
10/5 S - Too sore.

10/8 T - 1/2 mile. 20 min.
10/9 W - 1/2 mile. 19 min.
10/10 R - 4/5 mile. 19 min.

I DID IT! I MET MY OCTOBER GOAL! I pushed myself, but I did it! I still get sore, so I think it will be QUITE a while before more than or even just 1.5 miles are the norm for me!

Hi Everyone. Please set up your own challenge again for this month. Track here if you are able. Post here how you do. I will try and give you a spark goodie if you make your goals.

I am doing this because I am unable again to run a challenge at this time. My husband is still recovering, and I am recovering from surgery which I had three weeks ago. I'm not supposed to life more than 10 lbs for three more weeks!

Hopefully you are doing better than we have the past two months. The old saying, "The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak" fits us these past two months!
