assaalamu alaikum,sisters.i dont no why i didnt notice this thred before.inshallah i will remember it is here to post my weigh ins.i weigh in every friday usually.last friday i lost 2lbs making my currant weight 242lbs.still along way to go.my goal weight is inshallah 160lbs.

Whoa. I gained 4 pounds during my time away. I really need to get on it now. This roller coaster is not healthy. It's just so hard with everything going on in my life. Insha Allah, I'm moving in the right direction. School is over in May and I really hope to be at least 15 pounds lighter by then. If I can get there, I'll at least be out of the dreaded 200's.

Thanks, sweetie. I think I like to snack quite a bit and I've been eating too much salt so I'm retaining a bit of water. I also am not tracking so well lately and so I'm not holding myself very accountable since I'm not writing it down (you know how it is, I'm sure). Oh, well, like you say, I really try to stay active and that helps. I'd love any great recipes you have, especially if you have anything sweet that is low cal. (I got a sweet tooth)

Cindy are you eating more ? because I see that you are very active.
I notice that when i eat more than 2200 calories i either gain weight or stay the same but when i eat 2200 calories or less per day i see results but with excercise ofcourse.
i should eat about 1800 calories a day. I'm still nursing my one year old so I add 500 calories per day and it is working ..slowly but working.

Let me know if I can help in any way..maybe recipes exchange or something

Sister Bernadette, I see that you had lost 2.5 lbs before that is really great! At least the scale didn't go to the opposite direction. Don't abandon your program and goals that you setup for yourself. You have done so well.
Try to be patient and perhaps by cutting some calories during the week and increasing your water intake, and do move a bit more, the scale will continue to move. I'm sure.
Look what happened with me..I messed up my diet badly last week and I gained 3 lbs! I felt bad for two days and was thinking of giving up..then at some moment my one year old son was walking and he stumbled upon a toy on the floor he cried a bit then he got up and continued his walking. And I thought welllll if a one year old knows that he shouldn't give up so should I ..so I watched my calories intake and did two miles walking with Leslie Sansone everyday , Al hamdulilah I lost two lbs from the three lbs i gained.. my weigh in is on Friday I'm praying to Allah ( swt) to help me hold my will and be where I wanna be.
