I like this idea but unfortunately I don't have a ped. so I guess I'll just have to do my walk but twice as fast and just do it 2 days. Maybe by next sprint I'll have a ped.

We have what we are calling sprints by keeping track of our steps, using a pedometer. If you know your average then do your best on the sprint days to increase that by 10%.

This is a challenge that is running all year and whoever completes the most sprints with the best average over wins a prize.

So everyone is welcome even if they missed the first sprint.

My stride is very short so maybe it was more! LOL. Darn me for forgetting my pedometer. emoticon

I have "I'm So Excited" by the Pointer Sisters on my iPod and actually jogged through the whole song when I went on my walk today. It's 4:53! When it was over I did the "Rocky" dance and finished my walk.

I got my second Sprint in this morning. I did 4,620 steps. Actually, I did over that amount because I walked an extra 20 minutes at my Mammaw's, but I forgot to wear my pedometer. Doh!

Ok this is the thread I will post the dates of the Sprints. This is where you will post how well you did.


FIRST SPRINT DATE: January 1st - 4th. Remember you only have to sprint on 2 of the days, Any two. Since it was a holiday I thought it better to give more time. Good Luck Team. Let's cheer each other on.
