I'm hoping to be close to my halfway point and under 200 pounds by the beginning of June, so this challenge will help take me most of the way!

Week 1 - 1/3/12 - 253

Week 2 - 1/12/12 - 246!!!! (I'm sure this is mostly from starting to drink water and exercise again, but I'll take it!)

Week 3 - 1/17/12 - 242! Down another 4!

Week 4 - 1/24/12 - 238!!!! Even better than the weight loss, I've noticed this week that yoga is getting easier and I'm getting deeper into poses, and I'm about to have to start adding in running to my walks because I can't keep my heart rate up high enough just walking! I'm getting healthier and fitter by the day!

Week 5 - 1/31/12 - 235! Almost to 20 pounds lost!

Week 1 - 1/3/12 - Starting weight 182...would like to lose 20 pounds by May!

Week 2 - 1/10/12 - 176.7 pounds this week...Biggest change was I stopped drinking ALL soda and only drink water, coffee, or tea.

Week 3 - 1/17/12 - 176.8 this week....bad week. Didn't really exercise like I should have. Back on track hopefully this week.

Week 4 - 1/24/12 - 175.5 this week...WOO HOO! down ONE pound!! Better than nothing!

I'm hoping to lose 17lbs by May 8th, might not sound like much, but I'm down to the last 25 or so and 1lb a week is def a challenge. Good luck everyone. I'm excited about these coming months and can't wait to get to know new Sparkfriends.

Week 1 - 1/3/12 - Starting weight 182...would like to lose 20 pounds by May!

Week 2 - 1/10/12 - 176.7 pounds this week...Biggest change was I stopped drinking ALL soda and only drink water, coffee, or tea.

Week 3 - 1/17/12 - 176.8 this week....bad week. Didn't really exercise like I should have. Back on track hopefully this week.

I think I will like doing this kind of challenge.
My starting weight at the start of the year was 241. I am hoping to be down to 206 by the end of May. If the finale is in mid May then I will say my goal will be 210. Since I weigh myself on Sunday my posted weight will be 2 days prior then the day of the show.

Engaged....wonderful.....but losing 2-3 lbs. a WEEK is really not reasonable. You may have to really kill yourself for that.

What is your plan other than treadmill, water and vitamin????

Gotta have more than that.....

Biggest goal....getting healthy for your new hubby and your daughter.
Next, doing it sanely

Also plan on Strength training too, muscle burns fat!!!

Hi!

Just got engaged and having Midnight in Paris French theme wedding Sun Aug 18, 2013.

Goals/Motivations:

1. Trying to get motivated to get off my ass and lose weight so I dont look like a cow in my dress or next to my skinny ass bridesmaids. lol So wake up at 630AM everyday and jump on treadmill, drink 8 cups water, & take my vitamin.

2. Plus be a good role model for my 4 yr old daughter. My mom was a very bad influence, so I have to get over that and be a healthy mom. My fiance helps. He's super active and helped me do my first 5K in 2010 (37min 40sec). Did not do so good this year (2011) but atleast I did it.

I was in the Navy as helicopter electrician for 4 yrs, so I know what to do (exercises, food, etc), just dont do it. I stay committed for a week and then something overwhelms or exhausts me in life and I get depressed and tired and stop everything. And takes me awhile to get going again.

So here I go again! :) Good luck to you all too!!

Week 1 - 1/3/12 - My real life goal is to lose 20 Lbs by my 10th wedding anniversary in April, so for this I'll add a few lbs to my goal so let's say 23 lbs by the finale. That would bring me to 192, where I was when I got PG with my first child.

During this Seaon *I'd like to join the Cntestants with NO MORE EXCUSES!!!!! I'm not going to put down what Weight I'd like to lose cuz, it discourages me if I don't make it, in the Time aloud. All I will type is, I'd like to be in the 100's by the Finale. I THINK, I could manage that much. If I can't lose 23 Lbs in 4- 5 Months, I'd better shoot myself fer my Stupity.I know difinitely I won't make my Weight Loss Goal of 150. LOL!!!!! I shared this plan with a nurse friend I hiked with today. She liked that idea....and we are in it together.

She is 162, and plans to lose 20 by the finale. (She DOES watch BL)

We are going to keep each other accountable, and weigh in together once a week at least.

ME, I will only weigh at home once a week! That will be hard, and am tempted to lock away the scale! However, I will stay off it!!!!!

Week 1 - 1/3/12 - My goal is to lose 30lbs by the finale, which will put me at 160 which is my goal weight!

Week 2 - 1/10/12 -No loss this week! emoticon But I feel good!

Week 3 - 1/17/12 -only 1lb down but I'll take it. Kicking it up this week!

Week 5 - 1/31/12 - 191.6 emoticon I blame the girl scout cookies!! LOL. My daughter is selling girl scout cookies and it's very hard to resist the cookies when I have 12 cases of them in the house!! I'm glad she is done selling them this saturday so they will be out of the house for good.

My goal is to be at 150 pounds by the end of the show. My starting weight is 178 ( as of this morning).

Week 2 - 1/10/12 - 176 ( down 2 pounds!)

Week 3 - 1/17/12 - 174.8 ( down 1.2! I have been stuck around 178-176 forever! glad to see the scale go down!)

Week 4 - 1/24/12 -174.8 ( no change)

Week 5 - 1/31/12 - 174.4 ( -.4)

Week 6 - 2/7/12 - 172.4 ( -2 lbs!!)

My Goal is to loose 19 lbs. by the finale. Currently 155.

That is a lb. a week.....

How will I accomplish this????

#1 Use my new VIGORFIT (like the total gym) 20 minutes a day at least.
#2 Walk every day, at least 45 min.
#3 Track on WW every day.
#4 East less processed foods.

A discussion has been started in another section but it makes more sense to me to have it here in the Weigh-In forum - here is the Challenge:

State your goal that you'd like to reach by the Season 13 Finale in May and each week, post your progress toward that goal. You can either state it by number of pounds you are targeting, a percentage or the weight you'd like to see on the scale. I plan to post mine by number of pounds lost.

It seems like it would work best to post ONE MESSAGE and then revise it each week as you make progress so here's the start.

Week 1 - 1/3/12 - My goal is to lose 20 lbs by the finale [great it it's more but 20 lbs is good]

Week 2 - 1/10/12 - Down 3.6 [!!] - leaving 16.4 left to reach my season goal

Week 3 - 1/17/12 - Up .8 - leaving 17.2 to reach my season goal [hey, that went in the wrong direction!!]
