too tired today . did 1 mile .. then slept for hours.. and messed up on thyroid meds - getting days mixed up .. try again tomorrow .. had bad thunderstorms go thru all day .. hope to get out with errands and hopefully a walk - with no rain

Got my 10,000+ steps in, did 1 mile with Leslie Sansone and rode my exercise bike for 15 minutes today. My legs are feeling it tonight.

Start with small steps and momentum will build. Celebrate moving in the direction of increased happiness now! With a plan and persistence moving towards your goals all things are possible! Adopt an attitude of gratitude. Be thankful for everything you have. It may not be what you want be show you're thankful for it anyway.

I got my two miles with Leslie in this morning. I've been doing some walking in the house. I take a fluid pill so it keeps me in the house close to the bathroom. I'm at 8000 steps but still have 2000 to go to get to my 10,000 a day. Usually I go over but as long as I get 10,000 in I'm okay with that

Imagine you're stuck at the bottom of a well…screaming for
someone to help get you out.

There is a guy who hears the screams and walks up to the
edge of the well and yells down a bunch of vague ideas
and“motivational” quotes…


“try to just climb out”…

”you just need to want it more”…

”work harder and you’ll get out of there”...


Obviously that didn’t work and the guy walked away.

The second guy who heard the screams walked up to the
ledge and actually gives you some solid instructions…


”grab that rock right there”…

”now grab that one”


But the problem was that the person stuck was simply too
weak to execute the instructions…they were great instructions
and would’ve worked for someone who was already strong
and capable…but for them it just didn’t work.


Finally…


A third guy walks up and to the edge and instead of yelling
down a bunch of instructions…he calmly scaled down to the
bottom of the well where the person was stuck and said “don’t
worry, I've been here too – a lot of people get stuck down here,
and I’ve helped them get out a thousand times”

And inch-by-inch they worked themselves out together.

(even though I Seldom Ever miss a day! )
emoticon Did not hit my Daily Step Goal (14,000 Steps) But did get Over 10,000 Steps walking laps around the house.

I listen to ,my cd on my laptop while I do my exercise bike. But it gets a little difficult to hear while I do the treadmill. I did my 30 min of work out today 20 min on the bike 10 min on the treadmill.

I've been playing with the idea of purchasing a Wii Fit, is it worth it, or do the WATP DVD do the same thing. I just want to make sure this is something I will really use, because it's fun, and motiviating.

Wish me luck cuz i need it... have trouble commiting to exercise... (big sigh)

PS _ today 1st day since brother died in nov 2009 of lung cancer that i got on that "elliptical" in the bedroom and did 10 minutes 1.6 km (i dont know what that is in miles) woohoo- is this the start of a streak? i sure hope so !!!

I did 20 minute Turbo Jam, 200 sit ups, and me and my friend walked 5 miles in an hour and a half up and down hills, love it!!!! And feel great!

I;ve been visiting with Leslie today - 9 miles total - that's about 2.25 hrs. I'd like to get at least 4 miles a day on workdays.
