Yes, sometimes the "end goal" is too far away, and also it helps to have a goal other than just losing weight. Excited for you as well!

Wow Tia, what an inspiration you are! That is absolutely amazing!! Good luck at the competition - I am sure you will rock it.

I have learnd the 'next goal' is really helpful, not just an end goal I can't quite see.

Thanks for sharing!

My goal for the summer is to compete in my first Figure Competition in Tampa on July 17th. It will be the pinnacle of my weight loss having finally achieved my "dream body" after the last 18 months of moving toward this.

Immediately after that, I plan to start training for my next marathon in the fall.

Having the "next goal" is a great way to stay in "training mode" and keeps me watching what I eat.

It's almost the end of May, and so far on my journey I have lost 2 pounds. Kind of measley, but I'm accepting it. My goal for Father's Day is to lose 5 pounds, and I made this after I had lost just one, so that means 4 more to go! At this rate, not sure if I'm going to make it, but I sure am determined. I haven't been making the best food choices lately, and haven't been consistent enough at the gym so I hope some changes may help me reach that goal :)
What are your goals this summer?
