Good news! I did break through the plateau. I'd like to get down to 225 by the end of the month, but I think it's unlikely. Maybe 226...

I've increased my exercise and have been following the diet, but my weight has been in a holding pattern for the last three weeks. This morning, the scale appears to be moving down. I hope I'm busting through my plateau!

At the beginning of the month my goal was to increase my mileage a tad, but now it's just to be able to run before the month is out since I hurt my foot. Any and all prayers accepted!

Luck is what happens when preparation meets opportunity.

I'm still following the diet and exercising, but it is getting harder. My body aches from walking, swimming, and cursing at Coach Nicole, and I am hungrier than I used to be. Sometimes, I'm afraid that I won't be satisfied with the food I'm eating and will break the diet. It is SO much easier NOT to keep track of food, and SO very bad for me.

My goal is to lose 5 pounds this month. I'm trying to focus on that.
